We're back to the present, this takes place during the evening after the "cookie incident"

"Wow, this smells nice! What are we eating today?"
I entered the kitchen and found Y/n and Hu Tao sitting at the opposite ends of the table. The Scarlet colour of their cheeks gave away their embarrassment
"Uhm... Hello? Teyvat to Y/n and Hu Tao? Does anyone hear me?" I waved my hand in front of Hu Tao, but I got absolutely no response.
"Ugh... I don't think I've ever seen anyone reach this level of embarrassment, it feels like it's a scene straight out of a romantic comedy!"
After some time I stopped minding them and started digging into the food.

"Boo!"
I almost spit out my water

I somehow managed not to laugh while I watched Hu Tao sneak up behind YanYan
"Hey! What was that for!?"
At the sight of Yanfei's bewildered face we both started laughing, almost to the point of passing out.
"I'm- *chuckle* I'm sorry, YanYan, but the face you did just now was magnificent-" I tried to answer without choking myself.
"Ugh... You two really are soulmates, aren't you?" Yanfei deadpanned
"Y-You think so?" Hu Tao got all giggly and started staring at the floor while nervously playing with her hair
"So you're officially a couple now?" Yanfei turned towards me, ignoring her flustered friend
"Well..... We haven't really talked about that..."
My sister raised an eyebrow
"What does he mean?"
Now she started talking to Hu Tao, completely ignoring me.
"I have no idea. Honestly, he could ask me to marry him right now and I'd say yes." She smiled gently.
"I guess we are a couple, then..." My cheeks became a bit red after I said those words
Hu Tao smiled, before hugging me so tightly that it made it hard to breathe
"Well then~" *Smirk* "I'll leave you two alone now, but please don't do anything naughty in the kitchen~" Yanfei got up, grabbed her plate and walked towards the living room while waving her hand at us.
...
"So?" Hu Tao stared into my eyes, while still hugging me with enough strength to choke a whale
