Yokai Watch x Reader

"This was my LAST organic yogurt!" He shouts, stomping and putting her hands down by her side, the organic yogurt in her hand. "You keep telling me I need to eat healthy!" His dad shouts back, balling up his fists. Nate cracks the door open.

"You know I have a Greek yogurt everyday!" She says, stomping her feet on the ground. "It's not my fault that stuffs delicious!" He says, stomping his feet too.

"I can't believe it. They're fighting over yogurt!" He whisper-shouts. "Seriously! Who fights over yogurt?" I shrug. "Let's see here!" Whisper says, shoving his fat butt in front of Nate. He turns around, pointing st nates parents. "Ah, yes, mhm. It's her. I knew it!" Me and Nate bother look out towards his parents. "Uh- am I blind or is he crazy?" You ask Nate. "He's definitely crazy." Nate replies.

"Of course you guys can't see her! Not without...these!" He hands us two watches. "Whats that?" I ask, pointing at it. "It's the yokai watch!" He states. "It'll enable you to see the yokai! You can stop this fight if you put it on!" We both stare at it, unsure. "Go on!" Whisper says, somewhat excited. I reach out for the watch, Nate doing the same. I put it on and stare at it, the feeling somewhat familiar. 'Thats...weird' I thought to myself.

"Press the button!" I search for the button on the watch and find it, putting my thumb and finger on the sides of the watch and carefully pressing the button. The top lid pops up, a blue light emitting from it. I jump slightly. Nate's does the same. We both point it at Whisper.

"Not at me, point it at them!" Me and Nate both turn around and point the watch at his parents. As we do so a dark and gloomy shadow can be seen behind them. It groans. "What the heck is that?!" I says, my face becoming scrunched up. "Dismarelda. Its a yokai that creates tension wherever she goes." He states, reading off his tablet.

"She makes the atmosphere for everyone in the room unpleasant and tense, causing conflict and discord." My and Nate look over whispers shoulder, reading some more info on dismarelda. "This Is a very commen scenario for yokai to make. We like to call it, Fighting About Nothing. Worst case, your parents keep fighting forever." Nate gets more worried. "what?!"

"Your impossible!" Nates dad shouts. We turn our attention back to the situation. "Then go!" His mom huffs. They go their separate ways. "No!" Nate frowns. "Yokai are everywhere, you just don't see them! But they influence humans in all kinds of mysterious ways!" Whisper whispers in our ears. "How do we make that yokai leave?" I ask, pointing at Dismarelda. "The only way to stop a yokai is by negotiation or confrontation!" Whisper says, holding his finger up. "Fine, so go talk to her. I mean, your the yokai specialist!" Nate says, turning to whisper.

"Done and done! Just sit back and watch as I solve this problem quickly and gracefully!" He then floats over to Dismarelda. 'This is gonna be hilarious' I smirk.

"Hey! Whisper here! Kind of wondering...would you mind getting your big blubby butt out of this house and never come back?" He asks, kindly. I fall to the ground, holding my stomach. I was trying so hard to hold it all in. I actually started crying.

Dismarelda gasps. I stand up slowly, still wiping tears from my eyes. "I've tried everything but negotiations have broken down." Whisper says. "Hold on hold on, THAT was your graceful solution?" I ask in shock.

"Well I'm all out of ideas, unless of course you want ME to fight her." Whisper squares up, pretending to fight the air. "I'd pay to see that-" I shut up when I notice Nates mean glare. After a bit were all kinda just staring at eachother. I sigh, stepping in front of them. "I'LL go talk to her." I walk up to the deformed blobby creature known as Dismarelda. "You?" Whisper asks, shocked. I roll my eyes. "Watch me."

"Listen here, Dismerelda, Nate's parents are actually pretty happy, so I'd like it if you would stop making them fight. Please." I say nervously, staring up at her. She groans.
