He knew it was all in his mind, but that phrase calmed down his heart, "And you were the best almost-daughter."

She licked her lips and winked, "I know," she started to walk backward, her pretty purple dress dancing in the wind, "until we meet again, Shota."

"Bye, Len."

The rest of the day was spent in the highest mood they could've had.

They had fun.

They celebrated.

They drank.

They ate.

They danced.

And danced.

And danced.

Until their feet hurt.

Until their legs gave up.

Until they all fell asleep, happy that they finished that path.

Happy to start a new life.

"So, are you ready for tomorrow?", Izuku asked, his head a bit fuzzy from the drinks they had and his arms dangling from the roof's handrail.

Katsuki was sober, since he didn't like drinking, and was amused about how Izuku looked all messed up after only three drinks, "Of course, I am."

Shoto loosen up his tie, passing a hand through his hair, "Me too," he took a deep breath, "what about you, Midoriya?"

The boy looked up at the starry night, smiling, "I am, of course, I am," he tilted his head, "but sometimes I still think I would be happier if Len was here holding my hand."

Katsuki patted his back, "She's here holding it, she just became more discrete."

Izuku's eyes filled up with tears and he scooped closer to his best friend, passing an arm around his neck; he was a still bit shorter than Kacchan.

Katsuki rolled his eyes and pulled Shoto into the side hug too, so they could watch the moon together on that roof for the last time.

From the next day, they won't be living in the same home anymore, they would have different lives and go to different places.

Who knows what the future would have in store for them?

"I bet," Izuku sniffed, "I'll become number one before you two."

Katsuki snarled, "Fuck off, I'll be number one."

"Not with that attitude," Shoto smiled, "I'll be the one."

And another bet was made.

It was a different trio, sure, but the feelings were the same.

Now, they had to see who the winner would be.

Fifteen years later

"Where are you? I can't see you!"

"Are you fucking dumb?"

"C'mon, Kacchan, just tell me where you are!"

"I'm not, find me yourself!"

"Katsuki, give us some help here!"

"Why though? It's funny seeing you dumbasses looking around like lost puppies", Katsuki snarled, sinking more into the airport chair.

"YOU ARE THE WORST FRIEND EVER!", Ochaco's voice almost broke his eardrums.

He smirked, pushing down his baseball cap, watching the girl on her tiptoe screaming in Izuku's phone, "Nice shirt", he just told her, pissing her off more and more.
