THE BELL RANG FOR DISMISSAL. after a full dayof learning about each other's quirks, it was finally time to turn your papers—filled with information about your partner's quirk—in to aizawa's desk and go home. the man must've really wanted an in-depth analysis of everyone's quirks because even after lunchtime, he made everybody return to their partners and keep working. some people weren't too happy about this, as most weren't fortunate enough to have a partner as good as you did.
you have to admit, you got lucky with sero. he was so nice and sweet the entire time, not pressing you or pushing you to say more than you wanted. not to mention, he's super funny and encouraging. and his face is definitely an added bonus. that smile and those dimples never fail to make you—
"yn?" a voice snapped you out of your thoughts, maybe for the best.
you looked up to find sero looking down at you—speak of the devil—and felt your face go warm as if he could read your mind and hear everything you were thinking.
"oh, hey," you finally stuttered out an answer. "sorry, did you say something?"
"i just said see you at home," he chuckled at your confusion, "you okay?"
"yeah, i'm fine! don't worry about me—i'll see you later, alright? thanks for today," you smiled what you thought to be a convincing smile and threw your backpack over your shoulder.
"no problem, haha, see ya," he waved goodbye and walked out the door. most of the students had already turned in their papers and left class, but it took you a little longer to clean up your desk.
you looked around for a particular, angry blonde and met his eyes from two rows over. he seemed to have already been looking at you, and you wondered if he had seen your exchange with sero.
"are you ready?" you asked him.
he narrowed his eyes, looked down at his empty desk and the backpack on his back, then back up at you. "what's it look like?"
"okay, save me the sarcasm, bakugo," you rolled your eyes. "i'm leaving."
you heard him mumble behind you, followed by the sound of chains moving as you walked over to aizawa's desk and handed him your paper.
