The next morning, the girls woke up in the lecture hall of Professor Moriarty and got ready for the day. They did not have much clothes left since everything got burnt in the fire, but they made the most out of what they had. Once Y/n had gotten ready for the day, she got a piece of paper and prepared to write to her parents.

"Good morning ladies" Moriarty walked into the lecture hall. "Good morning professor" the girls replied. "You are to go to the dining hall and you are free to go wherever you want, but we do not have new dorms yet" he explained. All the girls got up and headed to the dining hall for breakfast. "Y/n, someone is here for you" Professor Moriarty stopped her. "Fred is still here?" she asked. "You will see who's here" he replied to her.

Y/n followed Professor Moriarty and he led her to a room. When the doors opened, she saw her parents. "Maman, Père" a smile grew on her face. "Ma fille" her father gave her a hug. "How did you guys find out so fast?" Y/n asked. "We have had our tabs on you for a while" Ambre explained to her daughter. Y/n looked at Professor Moriarty and he simply shrugged.

"We are happy that you are safe, so we are going to give you two options" Aresène explained. "Go on" Y/n said. "You can come back home and study in France or you can stay here, but you have to find a place off campus" he explained to his daughter. "I am staying" Y/n knew what she wanted. "I accept that, I know you are safe" Aresène said. "Merci" Y/n smiled at her father.

"Now, your clothes are probably ash, so we brought replacements" Ambre told her daughter. "Really? Thank you so much" Y/n replied to her mother. "So how do you like England?" Aresène asked. "Well I have mostly been studying here, but when I go out it is quite nice" Y/n explained. "Oh really, what do you do when you go out?" Aresène asked. "I go out with my friend Cassandra, she just shows me the city" Y/n lied.

Professor Moriarty laughed to himself. "Oh really" Aresène said. "Is there anyone here you fancy?" Ambre asked. "What? No my education is my priority at the moment" Y/n explained. "Oh what a shame, I guess we'll have to find you a husband in France" Aresène said. "Wait what?" Y/n asked. "I mean if you are so focused on school you will never have time to settle down so we will help you out" Ambre explained.

"If I may, I have seen Y/n walking around with a boy from time to time" Professor Moriarty interrupted. "Oh really, would you like to tell us more?" Aresène asked. "Maybe I will write about it, for now why don't we catch up" Y/n changed the subject faster than light could be perceived. Ambre looked at her husband. They knew exactly what was going on, and they were eager to meet whoever it was that made Y/n act this way.

"Do you like your classes" Aresène asked Y/n. "I really do, I enjoy studying here" Y/n told her father. "Do you miss us?" Ambre asked. "Of course I do, it was hard in the beginning but now I'm fine here" Y/n explained. "When are you going to come home and visit us?" her mother asked. "As soon as I can I will" Y/n told her. "You know where to find us, we will be waiting with open arms" Aresène explained to his daughter. "I know Père" Y/n replied to her father.

For a few moments there was just silence. "Did I say something wrong?" Y/n asked. "No...you have done nothing wrong, I am just speechless...you have grown to be such a stunning young woman and I'm proud of you" Ambre told Y/n. "Mamon...je t'aime beaucoup" Y/n said. "Moi aussi" Ambre's voice started to break. "Please don't cry" Y/n said.

"I will cry if I want to" Ambre said. "Me and your father raised you and you grew up so fast right before our eyes" she continued. "She is right, you know. It feels like yesterday I was on the roof of the maison showing constellations to you" Aresène said. "You are growing up and it's a little too fast for us at times" Ambre said. "Well we cannot slow time" Y/n said. "I know, time is a cruel thing at times" Ambre said. "That is why we make the most of every moment" Aresène said.

All throughout her childhood, Y/n heard those words and as a child, she just heard it. It was all starting to make sense now and Y/n's heart ached a bit. "Oh ma fille intelligente, what am I going to do without you?" Ambre asked. "Mamon...je ne sais pas" Y/n said, really getting emotional.

"Well we have to let you go before we take you back" Ambre put her hand on Y/n's cheek. "She's right papillon, je t'aime ma fille" Y/n's father kissed her on the forehead. "Père je t'aime beaucoup" Y/n said as she watched her parents leave her again. She felt at ease knowing that it wasn't her final goodbye to her parents. In a couple of months she would go and see them in France, but for now she was focused on one thing at it was her dream.

William watched the entire interaction and it warmed his heart. He never had parents, but he had family and nothing could replace the love that your family gives you. He was not related to Albert and the others, but he considered them brothers just like Louis was. I wonder if she will be the same way with her kids  William thought. She had good, supportive parents and an amazing education so the sky was the limit for her. Everyone around her knew it too and that is what made Y/n so precious to so many.
