Suggested backstory: _ was disliked almost immediately by Princess Islet, great-granddaughter of Queen Pearl, who was still queen then even though she was incredibly old, because he was scrawny and weak, and later because he was mute. As such, _ tried to impress her for the first year of his life until he got pushed into the sand by his fellow pearl divers and the queen didn't even comfort him- instead, it was his sisters, Ran, Goldfish and Mantis who avenged him. He couldn't understand why- he always tried to be trustworthy, being a shoulder to cry on for his siblings and keeping their secrets, being a help to everyone around him. Ever since then, he blocked other dragons and got into carving other dragons out fo driftwood and painting in the Summer Palace and, when he found it, the Island Palace. And that's where the backstory ends!
