stepping inside the grocery store Felix was not expecting Hyunjin to be such a looker, he just had to see every single thing that was set on the shelves and in other people's carts it was as if shopping with a rebellious 5-year-old whose strongest armor is his curiosity "what's this?" Hyunjin questions for the 100th time in the past five minutes, still, Felix turns his head with patience and eyes what Hyunjin is holding "It's a massager, I assume" To be fair, Felix himself was a bit confused about what Hyunjin was holding, it was bizarre and written in a completely foreign language but he presumed it'd be a massager judging by the stickers of body parts being in pain it had

"Okay" Hyunjin puts it back down and begins to follow Felix, hands intertwined the brunette looks over his phone on which he'd made a prompt list sitting in the car while Hyunjin looks around like an adorable lost puppy questing for its owner. the store isn't bustling and it's relatively quiet, which the two of them are glad for as they stride from aisle to aisle "If you spot baking soda somewhere please tell me, I don't know why it's not in this aisle" Felix utters with a sigh as he's defeated in finding what he needed to find, skipping this aisle and walking toward the other while pushing the cart

"baking soda?" Hyunjin mumbles more to himself than to Felix but the brunette boy hums nevertheless, and so begins Hyunjin's forage for baking soda as if he was a pirate on a treasure hunt, searching low and high with his eyes while he stood rigidly next to Felix as they moved forward. seconds later, Hyunjin's eyes which were previously slanted and searching now widened and glimmered "There!" he exclaims, catching Felix by surprise who puts down whatever product he braved in his hand and looked over at Hyunjin who was pointing to the left

"did you find it?" the rhetorical question is asked by Felix as they stride toward the left and in the direction of Hyunjinn's finger who hums delightedly. Felix is surprised when they stand in front of the products lined and there is definitely baking soda there, he wasn't expecting Hyunjin to find it but he had exceeded his expectations "Oh you did find it" the brunette smiles as if it wasn't a mere cooking ingredient but something grand and worth praising, Hyunjin's lips are also twisted upward into a wide grin "Good job, Hyunnie" The freckled boy turns toward Hyunjin, getting on his tiptoes and petting the latter's head making his previously wide grin drop

"Hey, don't do that" the raven head expresses his displeasure with Felix babying him but the giggle that escapes the aforementioned lips clearly states he could not have cared less as they proceeded to walk and garner further groceries.

moments later, when the two boys finished their little shopping spree and now stood in line for the check-out Hyunjin's eyes still couldn't stop gazing around, this time though he wasn't a wide-eyed puppy but a discreet conman, taking note of everyone and everything around them as he had one arm crossed with Felix's and the other hand intertwined with his own, standing like a grandmother out on a stroll with her husband who stood patiently in the grocery line and behind them is a visual representation, they're old and greying but still fashionable enough that they could easily give competition to youth, arms locked much like the two boys ahead

Hyunjin's eyes spot them when he turns to look at them before they fall to their cart and his eyes widen upon what is in it, he immediately looks up to the couple but their conversing with one another and don't notice the intruding eyes. Hyunjin quickly turns toward Felix, leaning in and whispering in his ear "They've got condoms in their cart!" he announces as if it was a great declaration. silent enough that it only meets Felix's ears. the brunette's eyes widen and he turns to look at Hyunjin, then behind him completely out of instinct before he is raising his hand and pulling Hyunjin further to himself

"do not do that! that's incredibly rude, Jinnie!" he tries knocking some sense into Hyunjin and hopefully some manners as well but clearly fails as the boy's eyes linger toward the old couple's cart again. From the outside Hyunjin was a brooding and mysterious boy who kept to himself and cared naught much to meddle with or in other's business while in reality, the reality which only Felix is aware of, he was an incredibly intrusive, curious, and all up in other's business type of guy (only if it was interesting enough though, he loved to dwell on gossip but preferable ones)
