Rooftop Mystery [GoM x Reader]

19.5: Hinata

Mood Setter: Onoken - Luminous Light

❖3rd Person//Present❖

        (Y/N) was strolling on her walk. She listens to hear the leaves blow, thinking about her basketball friends. She smiles sadly, feeling a bit teary, and continued aimlessly roving around the streets. (Y/N) look at the streets ahead of her, looking at her silhouette, wondering where this pathway would lead her. She sees another cat started walking right next to her. The crimson sunset continues to go down as the dark sky slowly and slowly appears. The streetlights started to turn on. The cat stops and only looks at (Y/N), saying goodbye and trail back home.

        (Y/N) looks at the pearlescent, faint light that was in the middle of the dark sky alone. She started to tear up, not knowing why herself, ostensibly because that she and the moon was alone just like how the cat left her. Though she could sense that soon stars will appear to be with the moon and share their light with them. 

        The female then passes to a school. (Y/N) sees a guard walking out; quickly she gets in without the security guard catching her and waited for the man to leave. She looks up to see the rooftop. (Y/N) now moves her feet even faster then earlier, skipping around in the hallways. She makes it up to the stairs to the entrance of the rooftop. She stops in front of it, hesitant to open it. The thought of death started to approach her mind, "If I died, no one will notice.. I'm just a tiny part of the world... Can I embrace the darkness alone?"

        Time continuously started to tick—the stars appearing one by one. The luminous light reflects the water as it made a small ripple. And there, the female stands there still.

        "Um.." a voice says, while tapping on (Y/N)'s shoulder, gently. The female quickly turns around, looking frightened that she fell down on her legs. Her eyes look up with relief as she sees it was just an orange hair boy about her age, smiling brightly like the sun. "Sorry, did I startled you?"

        (Y/N) slowly nod. "..Why are you here?"

        "I ended up falling asleep while doing my rounds. I saw you walking inside the building so I followed." It was after his sentence that the female's stomach started to growl. She look down, flustered. "Are you hungry!? Want to go grab something to eat with me too? I'm Hinata Shouyo! What's yours?"

        "...(L/N) (Y/N). My name is (L/N) (Y/N)." (Y/N) repeated.

        "(L/N)-san, huh? I don't have any money with me but if you like we can eat at my house. It's not too far from here! I bet my mom will make something delicious!"

        "N-No. I can't. I really shouldn't." (Y/N) shook her head.

        "I guess so.. How far do you live? I'll walk you home!"

        "No! You don't have to do that for me either." she back away. He looks at the female confused, and realizes that she wasn't wearing any shoes. He smiles, not wanting to pry but takes your wrist.

        "It's fine. It's fine! If you would like as well, you can stay for the night as well!" says the orange hair boy.

        "You shouldn't bring a stranger home." (Y/N) scolded.

        "Then let's be friends!" Hinata grins. (Y/N) started to cry. "Eh? (L/N)-san!? S-Sorry! Did I do something?" 

        

        "You're so strange, Hinata-kun."  The orange hair boy smiles, not saying a word, and hums his way home.

❖Hinata's POV//Past❖

        "My goodness, why did you bring a girl home?" my mom asks, feeling worried. "Are you sure she isn't your girlfriend?"

        "No, mom!" I slightly blush. "I actually only met her today. She was crying. I felt bad and I don't want to leave her alone. It seems like she doesn't have a place to stay, so can she stay here?"

        "No, I don't mind it at all. I'm just worried what you might do to her."

        "I won't do anything! So relax."

        "She didn't run away did she?"

        "I'm not to sure. Let's just wait till she opens up to us." I told her.

❖Hinata's POV//Present❖

        "Onii-chan! Dinner is ready!"

        "Got it! I'm coming down in a minute!" I responded back. I look at the photo that I took with (L/N)-san a while back after she came. I smiled and head downstairs.

        I hope someone can be the sun for her.
