Prologue

You couldn't believe it.

You wished it wasn't real, but it was.

Your girlfriend of five years... left the group.

Your mind is full of questions.

"What went wrong?"
"Did she do something wrong?"
"Did I do something wrong?"
"Am I not good enough for her?"
"Did I do something to make her leave?"
"Should I have convinced her to stay?"
"Did PDnim figure out about me and Jinni?"

Knock... Knock...

You: GO AWAY!

???: Unnie, it's just us.

???: Can we come in?

You wipe your tears before standing up and opening the door for your roommates. You gesture them in before closing the door behind them.

Bae: Are you okay?

Sullyoon: Of course, she's not okay, Jinsol! Look at her!

You: Yoona unnie, please don't raise your voice at Bae.

Sullyoon turns to Bae.

Sullyoon: Sorry.

Bae: Haewon unnie wanted us to check on you. Well, the rest of the members.

You: I just... don't get why she left us. She was happy with us a few days ago, and now...

You wipe the upcoming tears.

You: Do you guys think I was a bad girlfriend to her?

Bae: What? Of course not.

Sullyoon: You have been a loyal girlfriend, Jiyeon-ah.

Bae: Yunjin doesn't want you to think that.

Knock... Knock...

You, Sullyoon, and Bae look up to see the rest of the members.

Haewon: How are you feeling, Ji?

You: Upset, frustrated... I didn't do anything wrong, and we didn't do anything wrong. Right?

Kyujin: Ne.

Jiwoo: Mhm.

Lily: Whatever the reason, we have to respect Yunjin's decision.

You sigh.

You: I guess you're right, Lily. We have to move on as seven.

Sullyoon and Bae help you wipe the remaining tears, causing you to turn to them.

You: Thanks.

Bzzz bzzz...

Haewon pulls out her phone, seeing a text from the manager.

Haewon: Manager-nim will pick us up to practice for the Asia Artist Awards at the company. Do you want me to let him know you want to sit out, Jiyeon?

You: I'll meet you guys later. I need some alone time.

Haewon: If you need anything, we're just a text away.

You nod your head.

Haewon: Alright, girls, let's go.

LL, SY, BE, JW, & KJ: Ne.

When Haewon opens the door, she spots a familiar figure at the doorway.

Haewon: Annyeonghaseyo, sunbaenim. What are you doing here?

???: I heard what happened and wanted to come by to check up on Jiyeonnie.

Lily: We're about to head to the company to practice our Asia Artist Awards, but she needed time alone. I'm sure she wanted to see you since you two are close.

Bae: She's just in the room, second door to your right.

???: Kamsahamnida.

Your members close the door behind them while your friend makes their way to your shared room with Sullyoon and Bae.

You were lying on the bed, staring at the ceiling while calling someone.

I'm sorry. The person you are trying to reach is unavailable. Leave a message after the beep. *BEEP*

You: Hey, it's me, Jiyeon. Is everything okay? Why did you leave the team? Did we do something wrong? Did I do something wrong? I don't know what'll happen between us, jagiya. *Sighs* I guess this is the end of us, huh? I wish you the best, and I... hope to hear from you soon. I... love you.

You end the call before letting out a sigh.

Your head turns to the door.

You: I thought the girls left.

You swing your legs off the bed, walking towards your room's door. When you open up, your eyes go wide.

You: ...What are you doing here?
