37: Leaving?

Nandini's Pov

Later the night I packed my stuffs and sat on bed looking at the ticket. In morning I have to leave but I want to talk to Manik before leaving

I don't want to repeat the things again! But he isn't responding to any of my message or call what should I do?

I kept the ticket in bag and put it beside the cupboard. Coming to my bed I sat up checking my phone if there is any update.

The door got open and it was him. He locked the door and came towards me.

"Manik where were you?" I asked

He pulled my legs a little down and lay his head on my stomach hugging me tightly.

"Manik are you fine?" I asked

"I'm not, Nandini" he said and I caressed his hairs. "I'm hurt, I'm tired, I'm lost"

"Manik I know it was unexpected-"

"You knew from the start No?"

"I knew but I couldn't tell you without any proofs" he faked a smile

"How can she be so cruel? Is she really my mom?" I don't know what to say

"Mani-"

"Nandini I need you" he said all of a sudden.

"I'm here Manik with you"

"No not in that sense" He said and I smiled.

I moved close to him kissing him lightly. He flipped our position and later you can imagine what happened.

I'm laying on his back caressing the tattoo. Should I tell him? He is already so tensed!

"Manik"

"Hmm"

"I am leaving" he turned towards me

"Where?"

"America"

"What nonsense! Why?"

"Da... Dad wants me to go back"

"Why? How can he do this"

"Manik he is doing what he thinks is right"

"When are you leaving?"

"Morning 11"

"What?"

"Yeah"

"No you can't I will talk to dad"

"Manik you won't let it be the way it is we will do something about it but not now"

"But Nan-"

"I said not now please" he sigh turning back

Manik's pov        (first time maybe🤭)

I moved around laying her properly on bed as she is sleeping. I looked at time its 8am, 3 hours left for her to leave.

Wearing my clothes I went down to see dad having breakfast.

"What you think you're doing dad?" I asked

"Good morning to you too Manik... I'm having breakfast why?"

"I'm not talking about this. You are sending Nandini away? How can you do this?" I asked

"I'm doing what is right for everyone"

"This is not right at all Dad"

"Oh really and you think fucking your step sister is very right?" He asked straight "You should be ashamed of yourself Manik you're using your sister for your needs"

"I'm not using her I fucking love her" I shouted

"Don't raise your voice, and what love? Aren't you ashamed to even speak she is your sister Manik"

"Step sister and I really don't care about it. She is not leaving"

"She is leaving Manik and it's my final decision"

"Dad can't you see you're hurting her? You again chose to send her away from you why? Why always her? If you want I can go And I will leave your house but for god sake stop hurting her damnit" I was out of control

Last night when she was telling me about her leaving I saw the pain she was holding. Dad is again choosing me over her and I can't let this happen. She deserves to stay with him and it's her right as well

"Manik you can't leave Nandini is going today and its final, discussion is over" he said.

I punched the table harshly and the glass was all over the floor. My hand was bleeding.

Nandini's pov

I woke up with the unpleasant sounds to hear Dad shouting. Wearing my clothes I moved out. Dad and Manik were arguing, he was defending me. But I was shocked when he punched the table

"Manik" I ran down "Your hand" I said holding it

"I'm fine" he said

"No you're not sit down... Natasha bring the first aid box asap" I covered his hand with bandage

"Nandini you won't leave you hear me?" Manik said and I looked towards dad "Stop looking at him because I know he's hurting you again, he is repeating the past again and I don't want it I will leave this house but you won't" saying so he was leaving but stopped as dad shouted his name

"Today you showed that you're Nyonika's blood. You are not different from her Manik Malhotra"

"Dad please" I said

"You shut up! You know what Manik today I'm regretting to give you my name" I was shocked I looked at him

Manik turned around with a thud.

"What?" He asked

"Yeah you heard right You are not my son you are Nyonika's dirty blood who just think about himself, A selfish person you are. I regret I loved you more then my own daughter, I regret choosing you and Your mother over my own daughter. Yes you said right you should be the one to leave Nandini shouldn't. I'm ashamed of you Manik Malhotra" saying so he left to his room

"Manik" I don't know why but I was in tears.

"Please leave me alone for sometime Nandini" He said and left.

It is all my fault! Because of me Manik is getting hurt again and again. I Wish I haven't tell him about my leaving. Why I told him?

I came to my room crying my heart out. I Change my clothes taking my luggage I came out of the room.

"Nandini!" I turned around to see him "Where you think you're going? He asked holding my luggage

"Manik please no arguments"

"Shut up! You are not leaving and its an order" he said taking my luggage from my hand

God I am stuck what should I do now? He came out and tear the ticket into pieces.

I guess I have to wait and let the things get back to normal.
