Cale who was once Kim Rok Soo.

It would be a lie to say he hasn't gone through a lot of painful things in his life.

It would also not be a lie to say he downplays these things and deems them unimportant.

Don't be like Cale kids👍

And sometimes (all of the time) he has to remember these painful days, through his memory that will not let him forget anything.

Such a thing is a double edged sword.

This man lives have been the opposite of what a person's should be. A normal persons life should be happy with sad moments. His is sad with happy moments.

His lives have not been good ones, yet no one seems to know the pain  he goes through.

It's just a regular day of the minimal slacking Cale gets.

He's just sitting in his rocking chair, eating fruit and looking out the window watching the children play and train.

Many might state that this is a boring task but to Cale it's enjoyable, and when he sees that the kids are doing well he'll go through his records.

Luckily these days the more positive records show up. Like when he and the kids are farming or playing together, when he's laying down and eating cookies in Alberu's office, when he's having a meal with his family and the kids are eating messily so he'll wipe their mouths or even when Choi Han tries hard to convince him to exercise with his puppy-dog eyes.

Though, then again, this does make him nervous.

In his life as Kim Rok Soo whenever he'd get an onslaught of happy memories, that usually meant he would have a breakdown soon.

These weren't things he could control, they were also rather bothersome, it had him be able to do nothing but lie in a ball and cry as he is then onslaughted in his traumatic records.

These weren't exactly avoidable, it's happen whenever his mind had a break from thinking about important things which is why he hadn't had said attack in the years he's been Cale.

He knew they weren't a good thing, his hyung's, Lee Soo Hyuk and Choi Jung Soo, had told him as much the first time they saw him have one of these episodes.

But he couldn't really do anything about it, this world was more dangerous then his old one.

Everyone was banded together in his old world because of the apocalypse, humans had nothing but each other to rely on, so there was no way for them to use such things against him.

In this world it would be troublesome. If said therapist tattled that he was going to therapy then people would start bothering him about it. It'd be even worse if it was secretly a hunter or some other enemy.

Sure there was his family, but even without him doing anything they were already constantly worried about him, which he didn't know the reasons why, he was perfectly fine, but that's what On said and he could never doubt a word his daughter said.

But it was quite obvious that said attack would happen, and approximately soon based off of the tingling feeling that was starting to build up inside of him.

Not wanting his family to see such a sight he locked the door and put the sign on the door that said 'do not disturb, doing hot gurl shit.' Bud had given it to him, he had not planned to use it, but oh well it's finally coming in handy.

So now all Cale could do was sit in the corner, where he reflexively feels safest, and wait for it to start.
