She fell asleep as soon as Hobie had left her and gotten changed in the corner of her room, not caring for exposing any more than just her face to Miguel.

Once she slid into bed, she laid on her back, looking directly at the hole in the ceiling of the room, which was thankfully not directly over her bed. She glanced down at the cause of the disaster, her belt.

She couldn't help but allow her drunken mind to blame the pesky tool for 'malfunctioning' when she knew fully well she was only trying to show off to Hobie how it was better than web-slinging.

As Y/n drifted into a drunken slumber, her mind danced with hazy thoughts and fragmented memories. The events of the evening swirled together, and she couldn't help but feel a mix of regret and amusement at her failed attempt to impress Hobie with her belt.

That night, her dreams swirled and surrounded her with absolute madness. But when she woke up, all she could remember was an injured Hobie and Miguel looking at her expectantly.

Sadly, the way she woke up was more terrifying than necessary, She awoke to Miguel's masked face four inches away from hers.

"You were glitching in your sleep." He spoke as her eyes opened. She had to prevent herself from recoiling in shock and simply in its stead spoke one word, "What?"

"I gave you a new watch to stop that from being an issue," he stood up from his crouching position beside her bed, now getting a really good look at his physique wether she wanted to or not.

"I'll rephrase, 'what'?"

"Never mind, Y/n. Let us get going." Miguel spoke whilst walking over to her hero suit, picking it up and throwing her the mask. Wanting to get started on the mission and as much as he didn't want to, he would have to wake Hobie up to get ready and go with him.

Y/n quickly got out of bed and grabbed her hero suit, slipping into it with practised ease. Hiding behind her wardrobe door, not wanting Miguel's scrutinizing gaze watching over her bare body. As she fastened the suit and put on the mask, she walked back out into the open, revealing her clothed self to Miguel, "Can I ask if you came through the ceiling or the door?"

"No. Now let us get moving." He walked towards the door opening it.Y/n followed Miguel out of her room, her mind still reeling from the sudden awakening.

As they made their way through the headquarters, Y/n spotted Hobie coming out of his room, looking slightly dishevelled. His eyes widened when he saw Y/n in her hero suit, ready for action.

"What's going on? Why are we suited up?" Hobie asked, his voice still groggy from sleep.

"We've got a mission, Hobie," Miguel explained, his tone serious. "I thought you of all people would have remembered." He took a dig, not stopping on his trek to the room where Y/n had first encountered Miguel with that painfully slow platform.

As they entered the room with the platform, Y/n couldn't help but feel a mix of apprehension and curiosity. The last time she was here, things took a bizarre turn with Miguel in regard to her identity. She wondered if this mission would shed any light on the mysteries surrounding Miguels and Hobies' abilities.

Miguel approached the platform, his gaze focused as he pressed a series of buttons and activated the controls. The platform hummed to life, and a holographic map appeared before them, displaying various locations throughout multiple versions of their cities.

"Yesterday we got reports of unusual energy readings in different parts of the city in different universes, so now we have more specific locations and universes we need to help" Miguel explained, his voice laced with determination. "Our mission is to investigate these anomalies. They are connected to something bigger, something dangerous. So don't get too close to their portals."
