Living next door to Mr Popular

Sleepless night

After my parents had left my sister left me to unpack my things and get settled in, after having unpacked all my clothes I decided to call my friends. I knew it was stupid but I really missed them as before so had moved we all lived in the same block so we could see each whenever we wanted, I decided to call my best friends, Taylor and Mason were twins and we'd been friends ever since I could remember and I knew that living so far away from the was going to be difficult for me. I rung Taylor and she picked up almost immediately " Brooke! Yay you finally called! " Taylor shouted down the phone so loudly that I had to bring it away from my ear, "God, you're going to have to tell me all about your new house, how big is it? What's ur room like? Have any hot new neighbours?"
"Well- " I began only to be interrupted from Taylor screaming a someone to be quiet because she couldn't hear what I was saying, " wait Tay who's there with you?"
"Everyone" she answered "wait I'll put you on speaker, there done. Guys some and say hi to Brooke!" I was suddenly bombarded by greetings from the rest of my friends Ashley, Bella and Harry.
" God guys don't deafen her" I heard Mason say in the background
"Mason!" I said clearly happy to have heard from him
"How are you doing Brooklyn?"
"God you know I hate being called that! It's Brooke"
I heard Mason chuckle to himself "whatever you say Brooke." I suddenly heard a loud bang in the background which made me jump "what was that?" I asked
"Oh it's Saturday movie night remember? We're watching Scream" replied Taylor while trying to stifle a scream,
"Okay I'll leave you too it speak to you tomorrow, see you Monday" I said not wanting to interrupt their movie night
"Bye" they all said in unison and I hung up the phone.
I really missed being with my friends as now I didn't have anyone apart from my sister and for some reason I didn't see us painting each other's nails and talking about anything and everything like I did with my friends. I got ready for bed, I was just about to fall asleep when rock music started blaring through my window. I jumped and fell out of my bed with a loud thud, I groaned loudly and stormed over to my window to try and get the person playing the music to shut the hell up. I looked out of window over to next doors house where the music was coming from but the curtains were closed, 'great' I thought to myself ' this is just great. I'm never going to get to sleep with this and I need my sleep.' I decided to try and get my new neighbours attention so I quickly grabbed a pencil from my desk and threw it at my neighbours window, the music didn't stop so I reached over to my desk and picked up the first things I could find which just happened to be a bouncy ball. I threw it at the window and this made a loud thud when it hit it, the music suddenly stopped and I could hear someone walking over to the window, I quickly closed the curtains to stop them from seeing me and got into my bed. I'd just drifted off to sleep when I was woken up by the music again,
"Arghhh" I screamed picking up a pillow and putting it over my head hoping to block out some of the noise with no such luck I lay staring at the ceiling for what felt like hours until I finally drifted off into a deep sleep.
