Again I'm sorry for taking ages to update but I've had bad writers block and been busy, I have exams throughout the next couple of moths but I'll try to update as much as I can. Thanks for reading it I hope you enjoy it. (Sorry for all the typos) Xxx

"Brooke, Brooke wake up"
My eyes shot open to see Alex leaning over me,
"What" I asked "what's wrong?" I asked as I looked around the room,
"Nothing, you were shouting in your sleep"
"Oh, " I said as I suddenly became very embarrassed, "sorry"
"Don't be" he said smiling "I thought it was cute."
"So do you want to do today?" I asked as I went into the kitchen to make some breakfast,
"I thought we'd just stay here" he called into the kitchen "and watch a film"
"Okay" I said as I came back and sat on the sofa "which film?" Alex grinned as he pulled a dvd cover from behind his back,
"Die hard."

Alex's P.O.V
Halfway through the film I felt my shoulder suddenly become heavier, I looked over to see Brooke leant against my shoulder fast asleep with Kai on her lap, I covered her with a blanket and called Kai over to me . "You're a lucky boy, do you know that?" I asked only to be met with a confused gaze, "your mum is amazing, she's pretty, smart, funny and I can't believe I didn't notice her before she moved next door. She's perfect and she doesn't know it, I wish she could be with me and no one else," I said as the dog began to wag his tail ferociously "yes I do, yes I do"
Suddenly felt another hand on my shoulder and I froze,
"I do too" internally I let out a sigh of relief, I turned to face her,
"Brooke" was all I managed to say before I crashed my lips into hers.

Brooke's P.O.V
My eyes widened in surprise and I managed to push him away,
"What are you doing?" I asked as I stood up and turned to face him, "you're with Cassidy"
"No, no I'm not" Alex said as he sprung up off the sofa and took hold on my hands "I broke up with her, I want to be with you, I chose you" he said smiling as he wrapped his arms around me, "I chose you."
"I want to be with you Alex" I said as I wriggled free and ran my hands through my hair "but you haven't heard all the things I've heard about Cassidy, everything she's done to people she doesn't like, or people that have crossed her. I don't want to end up being one of those people because of this, because of us." I said as the smile dropped off of his Alex's face as he sat next to me,
"I know she can be scary" he said as he took my hand in his and I nodded, "trust me I know she can be scary, but no matter how scary I'll protect you, I'll always protect you." I smiled at his words and leant in to kiss him,
"So this is really happening?" said as a smile stretched across his face, I leant into his chest and smiled against it,
"Yeah it really is" I said as he wrapped his arms around me and chuckled,
"What, what is it?"
"Nothing, nothing, it's just I realised May will have a field day when we tell her,"
"What do you mean?"
"Well" he said as he looked down at me "remember at Christmas I was chasing her around," I smiled at the memory "well the reason for that is that she said that I clearly had a crush in you, and that we'd eventually end up together," Alex said as I started to laugh, "she also said it was written in the stars" he said as he waved his arms around for effect as we both laughed together.

I kissed Alex goodbye and sat down in front of the TV ready to watch Russell Howard's Good News armed with a bowl of popcorn and a diet lemonade, I looked down at my leg to see the crack that had appeared after Connor had tried to pull me up the stairs and ran my fingers down it, suddenly the door bell rang. I hobbled over and opened the door to find a boy, a couple years older than me, standing with his back turned to the door,
"Hello" I said smiling, the boy turned to face me,
"Annalise?" He asked,
"No" I said as I tried to place him and how he could know Lise, "I'm her sister, I'm Brooke" at this his eyes widened in surprise, "but she does live here, right" he asked as I nodded and he left out a sigh of relief
"I'm sorry, who are you?" I asked as I held my hand out for him to shake,
"River, River Tomkins" he said as she took my hand,
"So" I said "River, who should I say called? A friend? Classmate?"
"Actually" he said as he scratched the back of his neck "I'm your brother", after noticing my look of confusion he added "Annalise is my twin."
