Chapter 40: Sucks to be you, park

Start from the beginning

"Don't you feel at least a bit mortified saying things like this about you and my husband in front of me? To your best friend?" The older enunciated, repugnance and disgust debasing his tone.

"No." The younger answered instantaneously.

"In fact, you should feel embarrassed in yourself that despite being in your presence, I enticed your husband, who was once head over heels for you, just like a piece of cake." The blonde differed, shutting Jimin's mouth then and there. It's like he always has a solid comeback for any statement that can make his opponent run out of words with a snap of a finger.

"It's your fault that you let Taehyung slip out of your grasp just for that douchebag also you call your lover," The younger lad disparaged, rolling his eyes afterward. "And now look at you, chasing behind your husband again like a kicked-out puppy leaving your lover behind." Jungkook ridiculed the other with his own puppy eyes, his voice changing into a tone that we use when talking to a baby with a hint of fake sympathy.

"Even though that imbecile deserved it. He deserves to be left behind just like what he did to me, with you." He added after with pure hatred debasing his voice.

"Stop blaming me for what he did to you! I didn't have a single idea." Jimin snapped, his almond eyes glaring daggers through the younger lad's skull.

"Again, I don't care. All I care about is that divorce paper." Jimin's heart skipped a little when the divorce paper was mentioned, his knees began to bob up and down due to anxiety, and his nails were slightly scraping against the clothed wood of the round table. Basically, he was feeling like throwing up.

Jungkook sensed the change of mood of the shorter male, he could feel that Jimin is still having difficulty cooperating with him. The blonde's gaze became fierce as if his aura was saying he is not playing around anymore. "And just in case you are still not taking it seriously, I want you to give those divorce papers with your signature on them to Taehyung as a birthday gift. I am fucking serious about it." Jimin's kitten-sharp gaze similar to a leopard's slowly trailed up to Jungkook's face and the latter could notice tears also shimmering in them. But of course, it didn't affect him.

"If you don't you know what's coming? Exactly, those pictures. I have tons of copies of them. Won't mind doing a little giveaway." The blonde joked with a cocky smirk, laughing at his own made-up joke afterward.

Jimin gritted his teeth, his jaw bones were almost like they would pop out through his skin. Visible veins were showing one by one from how tightly he was balling his hands into two fists.

"I always knew you were a narcissistic hypocrite freak but I didn't know you are that much of an asshole," Jimin growled out while he glares daggers through Jungkook's unbothered face. "I know you believe in my words, I know you believe that I didn't have any knowledge about you and him being a couple back in the days."

"You are using that against me, aren't you? Because when you slept with Taehyung you didn't know your ex cheated on you with me, you had no idea! You slept with Taehyung even when we were on good terms, even when I was your best friend. You betrayed me and you were guilty of your actions and now that you found something against me you are using that to take advantage of me, isn't that right, Jungkook?" The silver head accused his used to be called best friend, making sure he is not raising his voice since he doesn't want to create attention and make a big scene.

Every word was coming through his gritted teeth as he glares at the young lad.

While Jungkook was just sitting there on the chair comfortably as he flashed that annoyingly smug smirk across at Jimin with a nonchalant look camouflaging his features. Jungkook knows Jimin is right but he also knows, he doesn't give two shit about it anymore.
