The late afternoon found me sitting in an abandoned warehouse watching as the photographer interacted with the magazine editor in charge of today's shoot. They were probably discussing making a few changes to the concept of the shoot while I sat here wondering how I went from being the house manager of an actor to being a road manager of the same actor in a span of three weeks. Although it was hectic and tiring, I couldn't deny that it had been fun all along, and besides, with it came many nice incentives.

The week had been pretty quiet for me since Adrian resumed work following his return from his vacation, and I, back to my usual routine of managing the house affairs. That was until I got a call last night from Adrian asking that I fill in for him in today's shoot. The photoshoot was being organised by one of the biggest names in the fashion world, THE ELITE.

I watched as Max the photographer in charge of the shoot, and the editor continued to converse and make changes to some of the pictures. I had to admit that he was good and could understand why he was a hot-shot in the fashion industry despite him keeping a low profile.

I let out a tired sigh, leaning back on the wall as I continued watching other models get on stage for their pictorials.

"Look at her sitting idle," a voice came. "I'm pretty sure your agency doesn't pay you to be idle." The voice continued.

I couldn't help but snort in my mind. Which individual has fallen prey to that scolding?

The voice came again, this time clearer and closer.

"I am sure that I'm talking to somebody and not thin air." She laughed. "And she has the gut to ignore me."

At this point, I raised my head to see who was talking, only to come face to face with Rosa.

I stood up, blinking in surprise. "Rosa?" I gasped.

"That's me, girlfriend." She beamed. "Damn, the look on your face."

"It looked deadly." Another voice echoed. "She was about to shoot laser beam at you. Hey, Kiara!" Reece smiled, stepping into view.

Holly Molly!!

I was stunned into silence, looking between Rosa and her hot-shot cousin.

"What is he doing here?" I mouthed to her when he wasn't looking.

She shrugged, giggling.

"He was bored out of his mind, so he decided to tag along."

Reece's eyes flickered over to his cousin, giving her a blank look. "I don't think you're getting the story right." He replied. "I do remember you blackmailing me to be your chauffeur."

Rosa let out a steady breath and gave him a cheeky smile.

"Really?" She retorted. "I remember no such thing, so shut up and let me win."

"Yes, ma'am."

She turned her attention to me, bouncing and all bubbly. "Come here, babe." She pulled me in for a hug. "I missed you."

"Yeah, me too." I murmured into her shoulder. "It's so nice to see you two here." I said, stepping out of the embrace.

Most especially you, Reece!! Inner Kiara exclaimed.

I let out a contented sigh and smiled. "I didn't think you'd come."

"That's why it's a surprise." She stepped around me to take a look around the set, nodding as she went.

"I don't see Krystal with you." Knowing my sister, she wouldn't want to miss out on such outings.

"Uh... yeah," she started. "She mentioned something about a date with your dad."
