“Can we even trust the sender? The message might be from the Anti Neo Zone organization.”, Kun said.

Taeyong cleared his throat, regaining their attention. “It's a warning.”, he said, shocking the members.

“The government will be dropping bombs on us in less than an hour. To be more specific, an air raid.”.

They widened their eyes, the information coming as a shock to most of them. “When did you receive the message?”, Mark asked. “Forty minutes ago.”, Taeyong responded.

“They sent it using a coding system, I had Renjun translate it for me, but it took some time.”.

Renjun sighed. “Now we have less than fifteen minutes to get everyone to safety.”, he pointed out, a couple of them panicking at the sudden news.

“Here's the plan. We haven't made a move in the past week, but it looks like we won't have to.”, Taeyong began.

“We'll wait out the attack, as soon as it's over, we'll gear up and head into the Capitol for the final attack. Renjun has been working on gathering intel on the members of the Anti Neo Zone organization.”.

“They won't expect us to attack right after they attack.”.

Taeyong went over the plan, making it perfectly clear what they were going to do about the attack.

The meeting was adjourned as the members dispersed, gearing up and rushing down to the hidden basement that was designed to withstand such attacks.

The siren went off, indicating an emergency evacuation.

The hallways filled with employees and gang members outside of the Elites. Everyone rushed towards the stairs, panicking at the sudden alarm, pushing their way towards the basement.

Zoey jolted awake, her eyes shooting open as the loud alarm rang through her ears. Her eyebrows furrowed, unaware of what the alarm stood for.

She jumped out of bed, grabbing the gun she placed under her pillow, something she had been doing ever since they returned from the game.

Taking steps outside of her room, she barely managed to squeeze her way through the crowd of people, getting pulled along with them as they rushed towards the stairs.

What's going on, she thought.

She scanned through the crowd, trying to find any familiar people. That's when her eyes landed on Renjun.

“Renjun!”, she tried calling out, but her voice was overlapped by the screaming and yelling of the people around them.

Getting frustrated, she tried pushing her way towards him, her arm reaching out to grab a hold of his. Before she could even get close enough, she had made it to the stairs.

Stepping towards a clearer area, she stood there, frozen. Why are they screaming and rushing downstairs? What's going on, she thought.

Unable to put her finger on it, she slipped back into the crowd, following them as they rushed down the stairs. Her body kept getting pushed around as she carefully took steps down the stairs.

She was doing fine until a harsher push to her shoulder sent her tumbling forward. Her foot slipped, her body slamming down to the ground as she rolled down the stairs.

Zoey screamed out in pain, her screams being caught by someone who knew her voice all too well.

Within a minute, she felt her body being picked up from the ground she was unable to push herself off of.

A strong pair of arms carried her in a bridal style, her arms instinctively wrapping around their neck, not exactly caring who had saved her.

They continued to make their way down the stairs, pushing past the large crowd.

Zoey noticed how they entered a brightly lit room, the walls made out of bomb proof material.

It was like an underground bunker.

Her eyes scanned the room, noticing how people were huddled up together. Her eyes finally landed on a familiar figure who was waving in their direction. It was Chenle.

“Zoey! Jeno! Over here!”.

Zoey smiled, but froze as Chenle mentioned another name. Slowly tilting her head up, she locked eyes with his, his charming eyesmile bringing a warm feeling to her stomach.

It felt like forever since she had last spent time with him. “Jeno...”.
