"Keeping you from dying, Sensei!"

His eyes widened in surprise, "You..."

Y/N gasped seeing a small baby.

"I-Is that?"

"Naruto." Minato finished just as Kushina tightened her chakra chains on the nine tails.

"Damnit!" Obito cursed watching from outside of the barrier realizing that Y/N ran in, disrupting his entire plan.

Y/N turned around to face the beast with her Sharingan activated, it contradicted the other's power.

"That putrid sharingan of yours." The Nine-Tails growled. "You don't have the balls to fight me," He smirked.

"I will stop you." Her Mangekyo activated using her chakra in high amounts to force him back. Kushina quickly tightened the chakra chains as they kept him in place.

...

"What are you guys doing over there?!" Y/N shouted as her eyes creased her chakra running low.

"I will kill you!" The beast raged as he slammed Y/N against the barrier.

She stood up slowly and coughed up blood.

"Aw, man I just got bitch slapped," She smirked and eyed the nine tails. "Let's see what I can do..." She cast a genjutsu against it as it roared in anger. Walking over to Minato and Kushina she smiled at the two and then their baby.

"He's even cuter than Sasuke was," She tilted her head to get a better look at the three, the nine tails thrashed around behind her as she turned and tightened her hold.

"... That masked man who attacked will bring catastrophe to the world," Y/N turned back to Minato.

"He was the one who summoned the Nine-Tails," Y/N said.

Minato's eyes widened, "That is true..."

...

"Seal it in me!" Y/N shouted as she teared up, hoping Minato wouldn't seal the Tailed Beast in his own son.

Minato shook his head, "You won't be able to contain it and at this age, you're far too old it would kill you from the inside.-

Reaper Death Seal!-

I will seal it in him."

"But he's our son, Minato," Kushina winced in pain. "I'd rather you stay with him and watch over him and our village! Why do you have to sacrifice yourself at all?!"

"Your own home village was destroyed so you should know better about the shinobi. We won't have much time with him. I'm doing it for Naruto."

Y/N let out a small gasp as the reaper smashed through Minato's chest revealing a wide open hole as a transparent hand roamed around and hit the fox. Kushina's chakra chains loosened.

"Damn you!" The Nine-Tails growled.

He's planning to seal me up again. Not inside the baby!

At least it's better than that Uchiha girl...

Minato placed baby Naruto down on the blanket just as the Nine-Tails raised its claws ready to strike.

The three gasped as Y/N quickly jumped in front with her arms open and eyes wide, her mangekyo shining brightly.

"NO!!"

Using her Mangekyo's powers. Truth serum brings on the agony of dishonesty, much like the chakra chains from Kushina and the golden lasso, it's more of an internal awakening. It works on the inside out using her special eyes. She restrains the fox's movements by using his own mind against him.

The Nine-Tail's attack sped to a slower motion as it impaled Y/N, her blocking the attack from Kushina and Minato just as the chakra chains tightened again.

"Y/N!" Minato and Kushina gasped.

"Protect your baby and the village," Y/N coughed up blood.

I really am changing their fates, Kami. Her last memory of her previous life wisped away.

"Why you! Damned Uchiha!" The Nine-Tails cursed.

"Seal him, Minato! I... We don't have much time left," She smiled at them reassuringly.

"8 signed seals..." Minato whispered as the Nine-Tails got sealed inside Naruto.

Y/N fell to the ground.

"Y/N!" Minato and Kushina raced over just as the barrier and chakra chains dropped. Lord Third ran inside.

"Oh no..."

...

"It's okay..." Y/N smiled. "At least I can die knowing I got one other thing crossed off my bucket list."

Kushina giggled and teared up. "And what was that?"

"...Getting bitch slapped by a tailed beast and... dying knowing I saved the village... I..."

She paused and smiled softly as blood ran down her chin.

"You're not going to die, Y/N! Get the medical team over here!" Minato called out.

"Tell Kakashi that I always loved him... I just never got to tell him the truth..."

"I'm sure he knows deep down," Kushin's tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Tell him yourself, Y/N!" Minato said as the medic team landed next to them.

Just as Y/N closed her eyes and let the darkness take over, Kami appeared, unnoticed by anybody.
