Maya puts the mask over her nose and mouth. She looks at her father. Ian nods while holding his breath. Maya took a breath before she proceeded to put the needle through his skin. Elerslie looks away. Nathalie let's go of Elerslie for a second. She walked up to Maya. She watches as her niece sewed her brother in laws wound shut. Elerslie felt dizzy. She seemed unbalanced. Wasn't long before she passed out. Gabriel immediately caught her.

Gabriel:We have another issue

Nathalie turns around. Gabriel smiled awkwardly while holding up Elerslie.

Nathalie:Set her down on the other couch

Gabriel:Yes ma'am

Maya cuts the thread. She grabs a bandage patch and peels the wrapper off before placing it over her father's wound. Ian looks at his daughter. He sets his left hand on her cheek.

Ian:Thank you honey

Maya:Anytime dad

Maya takes her gloves off then the face mask. She puts it in a small bag along with the used items. She grabs the alcohol and a cotton ball. She slightly soaked the cotton ball before getting up from the ground. She walked around the coffee table then up to her mother. Maya puts the cotton ball unde he mother's nose. Elerslie slowly woke up.

Maya:My job here is done

Nathalie:Where did you learn all this from?

Maya:I take college courses at my school, medical field

Nathalie:That's amazing Maya, why didn't you say anything?

Maya:I don't know, maybe to not disappoint anyone

Ian:Why do you think that love?

Maya:Well, this family is full of people with amazing jobs. Cousin Lupita is a gourmet chef. Uncle Finn is a lawyer. Aunt Lucinda is a business woman of her own makeup company. Like mom, she's a lawyer and Aunt Nathalie, she used to do dance and sing jazz. And you dad, a literal detective. So many good jobs in this family then there's little old Maya who is a doctor in training

Gabriel:Maya dear, no matter what job you choose to have, we will love you. You would never be a disappointment to this family. You are very loved and it will continue to stay that way. We support you no matter what. You know your uncle is forever your number one supporter

Maya smiles. She walked up to Gabriel and hugged him.

Maya:I love you uncle Gabriel

Gabriel:I love you too kiddo

Nathalie smiles. Elerslie finally sat up, still trying to wake up completely. It's like half her body is still asleep. Nathalie moved her glance go her older sister. Elerslie's body leaned forward. Nathalie stood in front of her. Elerslie's head landed on Nathalie's stomach. Nathalie strokes her sister's hair. Elerslie hugs Nathalie's legs.

Nathalie:Are you alright dear?

Elerslie:The floor is spinning

Nathalie:Oh honey, do you need anything?

Elerslie:A bin, I feel sick

Maya immediately left to get a bin. Elerslie lifts her head up. Maya returns with a bin. She holds it up to her mother's face. Elerslie threw up her breakfast. Nathalie rubbed her sister's back. Maya set the bin down when her mother was done. She turns around and looks at her father.

Maya:Take it easy on activities. Best choice is to stay in bed and relax. If you do too much then the thread can break. Let mom help you when you shower and use the toilet. May be a stitch up on your stomach but it affects all ways on movement. Again, take it easy
