Alright, let's do this one more time. My name is Morgan Bytes. I was bitten by a-- radioactive beetle. Not a spider, and ever since I've been the one and only Beetle.
Then stuff..happened; I saved people from burning buildings, stopped bad guys from doing stuff that was no good and help people from high places. But..other stuff happened too. I lost two people I really cared about and it took a big turn on me. I had to live with my aunt ever since.
It didn't really happen that long ago but I decided to forget about it. I didn't want those thoughts messing around with me when I need to save people. Anyway let's stop talking about that and get into the story, yeah?
I was sitting on my bed, yawned before I stretched. I rubbed my eyes and looked around. " Eurg..It's morning already? I barely got any sleep.. " I yawned again before my cat, Bandit walked over to me and nuzzled my leg. I looked down at my leg and noticed Bandit. " Oh, Hi Bandit.. " I said in a tired tone. Yawning before petting Bandit then getting up.
I walked to my door and opened it as Bandit followed me. I walked out as I rubbed my eyes and noticed my aunt in the kitchen making breakfast for the both of us. " Good morning Titi.. " I said before sitting down at the table. Bandit walked over to where I was sitting at and sat next to me then laid down. My aunt looked over at me and smiled. " Guten Morgen Mo " She said before putting some pancakes, eggs and bacon on a plate then setting it on the table where I was sitting before giving me a kiss on the cheek. " Thank you Titi " I smiled in a tired way before cutting me a piece of the pancake and eating it.
A few minutes later, when I finished my breakfast I decided to clean my plate so my Aunt doesn't have to. My aunt walked over to me and leaned against a counter where I was washing my plate. " You going to school today, Mo? " She said as I turned my head to her and sighed. " Yeah..I know I have a choice but my friends are probably worried about me. " I said before turning my head back to the plate, putting water on it to clean the soap off before drying it. " You sure? You've been not wanted to go ever since-- " Before she could finish her sentence, I cut her off. " Titi can we please not talk about this? " I said in a low shakey tone, stopping cleaning the soap off the plate and looked at my Aunt. " Sorry. " She said before stopping leaning from the counter and walked away to the living room. I didn't say anything after that. I finished cleaning my plate and put it in a dish drying rack and then dried my hands with a paper towel.
I looked over at my Aunt watching the news on the TV -- as always. I went to my room before she could say anything about how I handled a crime last night. I made sure to pack my suit in my bag just in case something bad happens while I'm at school. I get out of my pajamas and put on a blue and black striped sweater and some shorts. I put on some cat socks and put on some black shoes to match with what I was wearing. I put on my backpack and leave my room as I closed the door. I walked down the hallway as my Aunt heard me close my door. " You need a ride? " She said as she turned to me. " Nah, I think I'll be okay. " She nodded and went back to her TV. I walked to the door as I saw Bandit was following me. I kneeled down and petted Bandit on the head. " I gotta go to school, Bandit. I'll be back I promise. " Bandit purred as he laid down by the door as soon as I walked out.
A few minutes of walking I decided to get my headphones out and play music while on my way to school. I pulled out my phone and one of my friends, Jackie seemed to call me. I answered as I crossed the street when the light turned green. " Hey Jackie, what's up? " I said as I stopped at front of my school. " MORGZ! ARE YOU HERE YET? " He said, yelling at me for whatever reason. " Err..I'm outside of the building right now, why? " I said as I walked up the stairs and put my phone in my pocket. " Chris and Cala is looking for you, Morgz! You gotta come! hurry up! " He said, still basically yelling through the whole call. " I'm coming..please stop screaming - jesus - " I said before I ended the call. I opened the doors of the school as I headed to the cafeteria, considering I'm not that late so students should still be at the cafeteria.
On my way there to the cafeteria, I see Jackie waving to me and even yelled my name - which caused everyone in the cafeteria stared at me. I smiled awkwardly and hid my face as sped walk to Jackie, Chris and Cala. I sat down and looked at Jackie. " Why would you do that- " Jackie chuckled nervously and fiddled with his fingers. " Sorry..ehe.. " He looks over at Chris and Cala. " Oh! We wanted to tell you something Morgz! " I looked confused as I stared at them. " What? " Jackie held my hands and I just got more confused as I moved my hands. Jackie smiled and put his hands on the table. " How was being Beetle yesterday was like? " I was shocked, and before I could say anything Chris soonly spoke. " Dude! Not so fucking loud! " Chris looked at him as Cala giggled a bit. " Anyways how are you holding up, Morgan? " I looked over at Cala and smiled. " I'm doing better now. Thank you for asking-- and sorry for not showing up for school for a few weeks.. " Cala smiled aswell. " No it's okay! It's quite understandable on why you left. " Chris added in. " It's a bit hard to lose your parents, we're just glad you're back man. " They all nodded as Jackie did a thumbs up. I smiled. " I'm so glad to have you guys. "
