"How'd you know I was from France," she asked with a slight blush on her cheeks.

"I took a guess though I thought I heard a slight french accent when I first spoke to you though I wasn't completely sure until now so I guess I'm correct." he answered grabbing another piece of sushi.

"Well you know where I'm from, but where are you from?" she asked him back, taking a sip of drink.

Beck did the same and placed his cup down smiling at her before he told her his response "Canada".

"It must be cold," Jade commented, taking a piece of sushi from the plate "you have no idea, so tell me about yourself," he asked. Over the past few days she had learned propers things about him though all he had were vague responses in return.

"What do you want to know?" Jade asked, she felt relaxed yet slightly intrigued by him though initially the main thing she wanted to know was why did he want to know so much about her.

Was this some kind of ploy or had a guy actually taken interest in her. "Do you have any siblings?" he asked, staring intently at her, "no an only child actually, what about you?" she asked him. "No siblings, though I do occasionally help babysit the kids in my neighbourhood."

"How responsible are you, do you have any pets?" she asked curiously. "No, I've always wanted to get a dog though, I doubt my parents will let me. So dogs or cats?" he asked, as Jade took a sip of her drink.

"Sorry, Oliver but cats all the way, I have a little kitten named Tikki would never give her up" Jade spoke a grin making its way onto her face as she spoke of her beloved little friend.

"I have to say I'm shocked you have a kitten. I was expecting a dog like a german shepherd or something no offence" he held an amused expression as he talked.

"A little offence taken, but no I'm a cat girl but dogs aren't terrible-" Jade stated as a waiter came to the table "will you be ordering anything else?" he asked Jade to look over to Beck who just shook his head before asking if she wanted anything else only to politely decline.

The waiter nodded and went to go grab the bill, as he returned Jade turned to the bag pulling out her purse only for Beck to stop her, "on me," she went to argue for him only to say he was the reason she had come here.

As the two walked out of the building they drove with Jade giving him the instructions of her grandmother's apartment using the GPS, as he pulled into an open parking space, she went to get out for Beck to call her name. "Yeah" she responded, standing outside the car still holding the front seat door open.

"I had fun today, do you want to do this again sometime?" he asked, a slightly nervous expression on his normally calm face. "Like a date?" she asked in response. "Yes" he answered almost instantly.

"I'd love to" she spoke, giving her one of the most genuine smiles she had in a long time.
