When blue and yellow went to earth to shatter the crystal gems Steven found out he could talk to them through their thoughts blue and yellow were defensive at first but once they recognized the aura as pink Diamond they let their guard down and finally talked to Steven. Yellow stepped aside to talk to all of the other diamonds to find out what to do with pink 2.0 since they've found the real pink Diamond.
Black diamond - "are we sure it's even her? It looks like an organic."
Green diamond - "Oh wow this is so exciting!"
Purple diamond - "Trust me I know what pink looks and sounds like and that's not her"
Yellow diamond - "blue insists it's her"
Red diamond - "why don't we just let black Diamond look into her past to see if it's the real pink."
Black diamond - "yes I'll be on earth in a few minutes"
Yellow diamond - "Quickly before blue gets too attached"
Black Diamond spent three hours on earth skipping through Steven rose quartz and pink diamonds entire past and confirmed it was her. Most of the diamonds celebrated except pink 2.0, she felt she wasn't needed anymore until teal Diamond convinced black to let pink 2.0 and her pearl entertain at teals next ball.
