~3nd person pov~

"I heard that mr. yakko was caught doing witchcraft" "yeah I think it's true" the people gossip for yakko waner was being accused of witchcraft. Yakko was fed up with the gossip and being accused so he decided to pay his dear friend, max goof, a visit.

~yakko's pov~

I knock on max's door praying he is home. The door opens and max is standing there smiling "hey yakko long time no see" max says as he invites me into his home "It's nice to see you again max but I-I need advice" I say slightly nervous. "Of course buddy what is it?" max says offering me a seat I sit down across from max. "I- Well um I'm being accused of witchcraft any idea on how I can get the public off me?" I ask having slight trouble wording it. "Maybe you should lay low for a while don't want to get executed" Max says standing up. I stand up confused as max leads me out to town and into some store I now understood he and I were getting some things to help me lay low for a while.

~3nd person pov~

while yakko looked around the store and max was getting some things someone spotted them that someone was a kinda short mouse who went by the name of mickey mouse. The mouse quickly left and ran off to where the royal family was, the castle. This little mouse was going to tell the royals and get that warlock/witch out if this kingdom weather Mr. max goof would like it or not.

~short time skip~

The royals had sent guards into the store where max and yakko where located. The guards raided the store capturing yakko and bringing him to the castle with max trying to chase after him but failing.

~max's pov~

I tripped and fell to my knees as yakko looked me in the eyes as disappeared into the castle being carried by the very tall guards. I was on the break of tears but I stand up and wipe them away with one of my sleeves and dash home once I arrive I pull out my feather pin and some paper than I start making a plan I was going to save him 'I won't let him die' This thought repeating in my mind as I become more and more confident with my plan.

~yakko's pov~

I watch as max falls to his knees before the guards put me down onto my feat and make me walk to the room that held the royals and the little rat who snitched. I enter a large room the walls had a rich dark purple color with a darker pattern on it dark oak wood lining all walls as well [the wood is a wall trim] the floor was a lighter brown in wooden planks at the back wall there were thrown where the royals sat the snitch standing off to a corner.. "So your the little witch/warlock?" The king booms his voice echoing through the room. His voice made me sick but I tried to remain calm and so I say "yeah so what if I am?" I was forcing tears of fear to not fall. "Hmmm guards!" The queen says her voice getting higher at the 'guards' part. The guards grab my arms and pick me up due to them being so much more taller than me and the guards take me down to the dungeon and throw me into a cell. "you'll be staying here until you are to be executed" one of the guards say as they leave locking the door behind them. 'please max please save me I don't want to die' I think as I curl up into a ball on the ground I end up falling onto my side but I don't care I just sit there tears threatening to fall. I try to not lose hope but I can only fear for the worst.

~skip to execution day~

I was walking up to the stick that was due to bond me while I burned to death all my hope was gone for max saving me but some part of me still wanted to believe he would.

~max's pov~

I stood near the front of the crowd my plan was perfect. As soon as yakko was tied to the stick the king held up a match while telling everyone a speech about this is what happens to warlocks/witches. I quickly ran over to yakko while everyone was distracted by the king "m-" "sh" I cut yakko off putting my index finger over my mouth signaling him to be quiet. I quickly untie yakko and grab his hand as we run off. "GET THEM!" the king yells once realizing yakko was gone and seeing me and yakko running away. I quickly throw yakko and I onto a horse I grab the reins and yakko wraps his arms around my torso as the horse starts to run at intense speed from the angry mob following us yelling things like 'get them' or 'get the witch/warlock' The horse was much faster than them so some started to fire arrows but I manged to get the horse to dodge them all. Me and yakko made it to a forest where people rarely went into since there was a fire one year that killed off lots of animals and resources.

~3nd person pov~

After a while of yakko and max riding the horse they came across a old cottage it seemed to be slightly burnt from the fire that happened a few years ago meaning it was abandoned. However just to be sure max and yakko knocked on the door and even went inside and shouted 'hello is anyone living here' but yet they got no answer. Yakko and max decided that they would live in the cottage until either the whole thing blew over or they decide to live in a different kingdom.
