~max's pov~

I wasn't really listening to my teacher for I was spaced out 'man roxanne is cute but so is yakko I love them both!' I thought as I day dreamed about being a thing with one of the two. When the bell rang I dashed out of the class room and out of the school wanting to get home as soon as possible. When I arrived my phone went off and I saw roxanne messaged me.

Roxanne: hey

Max: hi

Roxanne: you won't believe this!

Max: I won't believe what?

Roxanne: I got a girlfriend!

Max: oh that's nice but I gotta go now see ya

Roxanne: okay bye

I was heart broken so I called yakko and asked if I could come over or if he could come over. Yakko said that I can go over to his house so I quickly told my dad where I was going before heading out making my way to his place. When I arrived yakko greeted me and we talked for a while until we reached the topic of roxanne. "Oh yeah how's your friend roxanne doing?" yakko asks since he was curious on how my other friends were doing "oh she got a girl friend" I say in a quiet tone trying to not seem to sad. A second later I fell very soft fur and look down seeing yakko hugging me. I hugged him back on the edge of tears "It's okay maxi don't be sad I'm still here for ya aren't I?" yakko says refusing to let go of me. "yeah I guess you are" I reply blushing and smiling slightly 'at least I still have yakko' I think as the hug ended. After that we went in side and hung out until it got pretty late. "oh it's getting kinda late maybe I should start heading home so my dad doesn't worry" I say not really paying much attention to anything "oh yeah I guess you should but why don't I walk you back home?" yakko says. I blush slightly before nodding after wards on our way to my house we held hands and chatted which made me blush a bit more. I was allowing my crush for yakko to grow hopefully canceling out the old one I had for roxanne. When I got to the door I waved yakko good bye as he started walking off.
