"Gosh you scared the shit out of me Jungwoo" she said as her racing heart calmed down a bit. For a second she thought the man was her daughter's father and was scared shitless

"I'm sorry" he said as he laughed. He then crouched down to the little girl's level and introduced himself in his gentlest voice "Shall we go grab dinner together? I just got off work and been wandering around since I didn't want to go home" 

He took the mother and daughter to the nearest pizza place since the little girl wanted to eat pizza. Eun then went to play at the small station that had toys for kids to play with while the adults ate peacefully 

"Seriously you have no intention of getting remarried?" he asked as the girl was lost in thought "Not really. Not after experiencing Jaehyun but it seems like Eunjae really craves for dad's love" she smiled bitterly remembering her old self

It was just her and her dad ever since she was aware of her surroundings. She was always jealous of her friends who had their mothers and went on girly dates while she was just stuck at home with her dad but she never complained because her dad gave her his all and raised her without making her lack anything

Unfortunately, her father passed away a year after she got married to Jaehyun as his health was in poor condition "I feel bad for Eunjae since I feel like she might not experience a father's love. I also never experienced a mother's love so I don't want her to go through the same"

Jungwoo understood what she meant and agreed that his best friend was indeed an asshole to her throughout their marriage. He always felt bad for her since all she did was treat him and his friends good while Jaehyun treated her like trash and he wished she'd find the perfect guy for her

"Honestly I heard from Jae that you have a thing going on with Stardust's CEO" he said wiggling his brows making the girl blush. Seeing her reaction he wanted to know more so he eagerly placed his hands on the table while leaning forward and resting his cheeks on his hands 

She started telling him about her date nights with Eunwoo to how he got along with being Eunjae's father and honestly, Jungwoo couldn't be happier for her

"Thank you for the tasty dinner" Eunjae said as she bowed to Jungwoo "Aigooo you're so cute like me" he said pinching her cheeks before giving her pocket money even if Eun refused "I'm not giving it to you I'm giving it to her as her uncle" was all he said he walked them to their door

"How is Eunjae doing?" Yuta asked his friend as he took a sip of his scotch "She's doing good, the more I look at her the more I see Jaehyun in her"

"Can't deny it. The first time I saw her I could instantly see young Jae in her but she got her mother's beautiful eyes"

"Agreed Eun's boba eyes are the prettiest" the two friends went on without realising someone was hearing their conversation
