Complicated

Part 67 - I'm not strong enough for this, Steve

A week later,
Steve arrives at the cabin as Bruce prepares the machine outside the cabin.

Mya has been feeling better, keeping herself busy with the company and of course Noah. Trying to keep her mind busy after what happened with Bucky.

"Hey you!" Steve says, knocking on her door as she's getting ready to leave for to the office. "Hey" she smiles as she continues putting on some make up.

"Are you coming out?" He asks leaning on the door frame.

"For?" She asks, looking at him through the mirror.

"Putting the stones back, remember" he says.

"I know that. Why do I need to be there?" She asks looking back at him.

"Can you just come, we'll be ready in a few minutes!" He says and walks out.

She finishes getting ready, she puts on a high neck tank top under a coat, and some high waisted pants. Her tummy sticks out a little more now.

She puts on a few accessories such as earrings and bracelets.

She hasn't been wearing necklaces since the incident, she never fixed the chain with Bucky's tag. She had it in her drawer, she didn't plan on wearing it since they were not in the best place at the moment.

She hears Noah wake up from his nap.

She picks him up and walks outside. As she's walking out she sees Sam and Bruce by the machine. "Hi" she smiles hugging Sam.

Bruce in his new form now, gives her a side hug.  "Hi there little guy!" he gives Noah a high five. She chuckles at the size difference.

"Dada!" Noah says pointing behind her, her smile quickly fades.

"Hey bud" he waves walking toward them.

She puts him down and lets him run toward Bucky.

He picks up Noah and hugs him. "I missed you so much!" He says kissing his cheek.

Steve steps next to her. "Why is he here?" She asks turning away from Bucky.

"He's my best friend, he has to be here" he says. She furrows her eyebrows. "I don't see why we all need to be here, Steve, it will only going to take a couple of seconds!" She crosses her arm.

Bucky starts walking toward them. She sighs "I have to go to work" she walks away before Bucky gets closer.

"Mya, wait" Steve grabs her arm stopping her. She looks down at his arm on hers and gives him a serious look, making him quickly let go. Bucky steps next to Steve.

"Hi" Bucky says nervously looking at her.

She takes a deep breath and turns glaring daggers at Steve.

"You look-" Bucky pauses, looking down at her growing belly, now that she isn't hiding it. He softly smiles. How is it that she looks even more beautiful pregnant? He wonders.

"How are-" she interrupts Bucky. "Steve, I need to go to work. So I'll see you later" she says ignoring Bucky and starts walking away.

"Mama?" Noah says looking back at her. "I'll be back, okay?" She says blowing a kiss at Noah still in Bucky's arms.

"Sam was suppose to watch you today," she says looking at Sam, "I am but his dad is here now!" He chuckles.

She give Sam a smile and walks back toward the house.

Steve follows her. "Hey, wait. You own that company, who cares if you're late" he says stopping her from getting in the house. "I need you here, it'll make me feel a thousand times better knowing I have you..." he says. "and the others!" He adds looking back at them.
