Hinata's POV
Some time ago...

As Rimuru left, both me and Testarossa looked towards the guy named Vega. There were a lot of monsters around us as well, but most of them would pose no threat.

"Be careful Hinata, those monsters are not ordinary." Testarossa tells me.
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"They were trying to incarnate Angels. Just like how demons like me become much stronger, just by having a body, so do angels."

"Then isn't this quite bad news."
"No. Luckily all of those are failed products. Only two of them seem to have succeeded." Testarossa said looking at Vega and Reiner.

So even Reiner had an angel incarnated in him. I could feel many presences coming towards us. I quickly look in their direction and realise that they are the inquisitors of Ingrassia.

"Perfect timing. Why don't you take care of these weaklings." Testarossa ordered the inquisitors without a shred of hesitation.

"Moss, help whoever might need it."
"Understood."

"You should take care of him. You have some old debts to settle with him, don't you?" Testarossa asked.
"No. But if you say so, I will take care of him."

I walked towards Reiner who had a disgusting smile on his face. Tch. Irritating.

"Kwahahaha. How have you been Hinata? I hope you haven't forgotten me and how you humiliated me."
"Ha. As if. If only I could forget that disgusting face of yours."
"Aren't you quite cocky, Hinata. But that's good. I can't wait to see you have twisted in fear and agony."

"Let's just finish this already."
"Kwahaha. Very well."

As soon as he said that, he teleported right in front of me. I instinctively ducked down and took out my sword for a counter attack. I also at his stomach, but he doesn't even flinch.

Bingo. I carefully made sure to avoid the broken pavement, but Reiner didn't notice it, and slipped. Taking advantage of this also at him as fast as I could. Out of the nine slashes, only four hit him. Somehow, by sheet luck of gods, he managed to avoid or block them.

"Damn it. What was that? I nearly fell." Reiner shouted. If he would have fallen, that would have been the end of it. Now, what do I do? I really am all out of options now.

"You bitch. What did you? WHAT DID YOU DO?" Reiner shouted.

His attacks became even harder and faster. I couldn't block all of them, and slowly his hits started to connect. I was able to prevent any major injuries, but in only a few minutes, I was covered in cuts and bruises.

"Hahaha. Is that all you got? Guar-di-an of Hu-ma-nity?" He said in a taunting manner.

Just taking an angel inside him can make him so powerful? Is this a joke. He dashed quickly at me, but before either of us could react, a small string pulled him, causing him to lose his balance. I quickly follow this up, by slashing at him. I manage to cut his arm as he was falling. It must have been Moss who helped me.

"Wha. What was that?"
"It was just you getting too overconfident. Borrowing strength from others doesn't mean you are actually stronger."
"You bitch. I will skin you al-" I am stuck and tired of him. I stab my sword straight into his mouth. It completely pierced through his skull. There was some resistance, bit as expected of the sword Ruminas-sama gave me.

"Ahh... It hwirys..." He kept on mumbling on and on as he rolled around the ground in agony. Well, he should be feeling excruciating pain right now, as his soul itself is taking apart. Hmph. If I want, i can kill him right now and end his suffering. But I won't. He had troubled me quite a fair bit. And to tell you the truth, I have this weird feeling of ecstasy, seeing him writhing around in pain on the ground.

I have a feeling that following this feeling would only bring me trouble. I quickly stab my sword through his heart, bringing his miserable life to an end. I turn to look towards Testarossa and see that she is in a fight with Vega. Their fight was beyond what I could hope to understand. My eyes were barely able to catch up to their speeds. There was no way my body could have reacted in time if I were to fight them.

Even Moss was able to intervene in their fight, yet I couldn't even think of fighting on their level. I can't even believe my luck. Even after all this, I am still nowhere near them.
