Aidan de Clermont

Descriptive:

Aidan is of average height, her complexion light from not going out in the sun much and preferring to stay inside when it's very sunny. Her hair is a pale blond. The color resembling white/silvery snow more then pale golden blond, though when she was younger her hair was more golden blond, having turned lighter and paler over the years. 

Characteristics/ Personality:

-Stubborn, Daring & Pretty extroverted 

Aidan does not like being told what to do. Quite a lot of times where someone has told her what to do or do something instead of what she was doing herself she stubbornly refused to do so. This goes mostly for people she does not know very well or authority figures. With the people she knows and trust she is better with being told what to do and does not go her own way as often, or at least informs them of it. Aidan is Daring as well. she speaks her mind and does not know shame in certain situations. Aidan is not afraid to tell someone off or make a gesture. Usually if someone speaks bad about a friend of hers she will say something about it. Aidan is not introverted but not fully extroverted either, she likes to say that she is pretty extroverted.

-Adventurous & Creative

Aidan got these traits from her mother. Her father was very creative as well and often she would be doing all sorts of crafts with them or was searching for a nearby forest or park to explore. Aidan always dreamed about traveling a lot and would share a lot of travel ideas with her parents. Her creativity she got from her mother as well. Aidans mother always encouraged her to be creative in arts and crafts, problem solving, being able to use any sort of tool and in magic. While witches have set up basic rules of what was allowed and what not, Aidans mother thought her what else she could do with her magic.

-Understanding & Loyal

As a friend Aidan is very understanding. If you need space she will give it to you but will also do her best to help in other ways. She will not judge someone out of the blue and tries her best not to fit people into stereotypes. Aidan is very loyal as well as a friend. Once you win her trust and loyalty she will do almost anything for you. If her loyalty to someone is ever abused she will not hesitate to show them what mistake they made.

Painting, Baking or cooking, Dancing with friends, Practicing magic, Making potions, Going outside especially in gloomy weather.

Fears:

Being left alone, Loosing her loved ones, Getting into a fight with her friends, Loosing someone to the government, Being captured, Having to run for the rest of her life.

Magic:

-Spell magic

As a witch Aidan knows spell magic, magic used through spells that have to be carefully created by the witch using them. Her skills with this are on a normal level. She is able to do basic spells but still struggles with more difficult ones.

-Potion magic

Magic used through potions. This is very similar to spell magic. Potions are usually used for healing or poisoning. Aidans skill are on a normal level with this as well.

-Elemental magic

Aidan has an affinity for elemental magic. through hand movements and spells Aidan works the elements to her will. She has to be around the elements though and her emotions can greatly affect whatever she tries to do. This can either cause the magic to fail in the moment or it can help her to push through. Aidan is more skilled with this magic, having trained it more then the other magics. 

Background:

Her childhood was quiet. Aidan grew up in the country side of France with her family. A small and cozy home, enough for the four of them far away from any nearby village, just in case any human had trouble with witches. Aidan played outside a lot, would accompany her father to the villages nearby for their groceries and was in a lot of teasing and pranking wars with her brother who was always a best friend to her.

The peacefulness her family had been able to build around themselves though was quickly disrupted, as the people from one of the nearby villages had figured out that they were witches and were bound on banishing Aidan and her family. Her parents decided they would not fight, not wanting to fit into the narrative the humans were so afraid of. They tasked Aidans brother to take her far away from their home and keep her safe. After a difficult goodbye Aidan left with her brother. After a few days they heard about their parents death and Matthew, Aidans brother, vowed to protect her, to not let the same thing happen to them.

Currently Aidan is on the run. Her brother disappeared a few years before and while on the run Aidan is trying to find him, as well as trying to find one of the save heavens  for supernaturals.
