Gurudakshina!

"YE KYA HO RAHA HAI YAHA?!" (WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE?!) Everyone looked at the source of sound wide eyed and scared of the consequences.

"ISHU?!"

Shivu and Ishaa flinched at the shouting and hurriedly got on their feet embarrassed realizing about the position they were in.

"M-mata wo...." ( M-Mother that...)Nakul tried.

"Tum Ishu ho?!" ( Are you Ishu?!) Kunti said glaring at him.

"Nahi"( No) Nakul said lowly, looking down.

"Maa..."( Mom...)Ishaa was about to say but was shocked looking at her mother laughing.

"Mukh dekha tum sab ne aapna?!" (Did you all look at your faces?!) Kunti said and again started laughing.

"Maaaaa aap bhi na! Dara diya aapne!"(Mommm oh god you scared me!)Ishaa said taking a deep breath.

"Accha! meri bahadur bacchi dar gayi?"Kunti said controlling her laughter. (Oh! Was my brave little girl scared?!)

"Mata aap bhi aapni bahadur bacchi jaise natkhat hogayi hai" Sahadev commented pinching Kunti's cheeks and Ishaa's nose lightly making both of them smile. (Mom you have also become naughty like your brave little girl!)

"Tum bhi kuch kam nahi Devu" Ishaa said pinching him back.(You're also the same Devu)

"Waise tum kuch kehe rahe the Nakul.....sabha mei kya hua?!" Ishaa asked.(You were saying something Nakul....what happened in the court?)

"Aagar koi prem mei itna aadhik vyast na hote toh swayam samaye par aake dekh lete pratyaksh kya huya tha" Nakul teased getting a smack on the head from his sister. (Hmmm if someone was not that busy in love then they'd have been there on time and known it themselves)

"Prem?!" Kunti asked acting dumbfounded, yes acting! (Love?!)

"KUCH NAHI! KYA PREM?! KAISA PREM?!" Ishaa shouted glaring at him.(NOTHING! WHAT LOVE?!)

"H-haan kya prem rajkumar?! Kya baat kar rahe hai aap.....humko kuch samajh nahi aaraha" Shivu supported embarrassed. (Y-Yeah what are you talking about rajkumar?! What love?!)

"Ye sab chhodiye...bataiye na kya hua sabha mei....mata?!" Ishaa asked diverting the topic but not without mentally noting to get back at Nakul for this. ( Leave all this....just tell me what happened in the court... mother?!)

"Gurudev aaye the....unhone kaha ki jab tak unhe gurudakshina nahi mil jaati tab tak yuvrajyavishek karna thik nahi hoga" Arjun explained.( Gurudev came and asked us for his gurudakshina...he said that no prince must be chosen before his dakshina is cleared!)

"Uchit hi toh hai" Shivu agreed. (I agree)

"Kintu aaplog gurudakshina diye bina hi laut aaye gurukul se?!" Ishaa deadpanned. (But you all did not even give his dakshina before returning?!)

"Gurudev ne kaha tha ki samay aane par batadenge kya gurudakshina hogi issi karan hum chale aaye!" Bheem said pushing Nakul a little but we all know Bhrata Bheem's little made Nakul swing across the room towards Sahadev who helped him stand straight. (He said that he would inform us about his dakshina when he thinks it is the right time....so we all returned!)

"Bhrata Bheem!" Nakul sighed putting his hands on his chest making everyone laugh.

"Parantu gurudakshina hai kya?!" Ishaa asked. (But what is the dakshina ≤ fees ≥?!)

"Panchal raj Drupad se yudh!" Arjun said determination in his eyes and seriousness in his voice which made Ishaa laugh. (He wants us to wage a war against king Drupad of panchal)
