What Hermione wants - Part 20

Draco's POV:
She wanted me. She wanted to be with me. 6 years of waiting and it finally paid off. Here she was, Hermione Granger, in my arms, telling me she wanted to be with me everyday. It was like a dream.

I quickly picked her up bridal style and placed a quick kiss on her lips.
"Hermione Granger you have just made my year" i smiled.

After a few more minutes relishing our joy in the corridor, we headed back to the Great Hall holding hands til we reached the door. As we walked into the Hall, we smiled at each other before letting go as we walked back to our tables.

I walked back over to the boys, my parents had arrived, as had Blaise's. They were talking among themselves. As i arrived at the table, my mother reached out her hand to me. I took it and she squeezed my hand.

"There you are" Blaise said turning around to look at me

"Yeah, i'm back. Where's Lexi?" I looked between Blaise and my parents. They had said she was going to come with them. But she wasn't at the table. Blaise pointed over to the dance floor where Matteo and Theo were both dancing Lexi around the dance floor.

"Didn't think she'd get here and not get a dance, did you?" Blaise chuckled

"How much did she have to ask?" I asked

"Matteo needed a bit more convincing than Theo, but she made Enzo promise a dance when he was finished at his table" Blaise nodded to the table further down the hall, where Enzo was sat with Daphne and Astoria, along with his mother and their parents.

"We should probably go over for our dances" i chuckled to Blaise. He put his drink down on the table, and we both walked over to the dance floor. Theo had Lexi in his arms and was spinning round on the dance floor whilst Matteo stood there laughing

"If you'll excuse me sir, i believe it's my turn" I said in a posh voice, bowing to Theo

"Draco!!" Lexi shouted as Theo passed her into my arms. I held her on my hip and took one of her hands in mine pretending to ball room dance with her. I was spinning around the dance floor as she giggled her head off. She loved when she got to join me and my friends. Theo was her favourite, mainly because he was the first one she met.

"How are you enjoying the party little one?" I asked her as she hung her head back

"I love it! I wanna go hogwarts!" Lexi screamed, her voice barely being louder than the music that echoed around the Great Hall. Several others were entering the dance floor as i danced with my sister and friends. Theo was clearly drunk as he was dancing more than he ever had before. Matteo was now talking with Blaise and being introduced to Blaise's parents, whilst Lorenzo was dancing with Daphne and Astoria. I felt so happy. My little sister was here having the time of her life with my friends who adore her, my friends were all together having a good time and the girl of my dreams was walking over to me with her friends...wait...she's coming over to me? Oh shit. With her friends as well?! Oh no

Hermione was walking directly towards me. Potter, Weasley and Ginny were with her, as they reached the dance floor Potter instantly took Ginny's hand and started to dance her around the dance floor. I watched as Weasley went to take Hermione's but she kept moving forwards towards me. I smirked, Weasley just got rejected.
