Mina let go of the trail, leaving it flying in the middle of the room, "So, we're winning?", she plopped down beside Len, shaking the chessboard on the bed.
"Yes, we are", Len smiled, fist-bumping her friend.
"You are cheating", Sero flipped them off.
"We are not", Len stuck out her tongue at him.
Katsuki inhaled slowly, "I'm not even playing and I CAN SEE YOU'RE CHEATING!"
"Hey, you're my boyfriend, you're supposed to be on my side!", Len used her straw to annoy the boy sprawled behind her, his red eyes fixed on the game.
"Fuck off", he pinched her waist, making her squint.
"Asshole", she whispered, shaking her head.
"Are you done with this bullshit? I want to go to sleep, not having you in my damn room all night!"
But Bakugou already knew that would be exactly how his night would end; them sleeping all over his pavement and bed, everyone touching at least a body part of the others, just to feel each other, knowing they weren't alone. So, the moment Kirishima felt a blank space next to his hand, he quickly woke up, sensing one of his friends was missing.
He did his best to raise from the floor and tiptoe toward the balcony's door, that was slightly open, letting the cold breeze of the incoming winter making its way inside.
"What are you doing, jeez", he rubbed his eyes, yawing.
Long black and purple locks were moved by the wind, only her back was visible, bright up by the moon and the stars, like she was part of them and was shining of her own light.
A giggle came out her lips, "I'm counting the stars."
"You're...what?", he stumbled to the handrail, placing his elbows on its cold material, his biceps pressed against Lenora's thighs.
She was sitting with her legs dangling in the air, her chin up to look better at the sky, "Stargazing."
"Stargazing", he repeated, shaking his head.
"Have you ever done it?", she asked him, smiling.
Kirishima raised his eyes, "Never once."
Lenora gasped, pushing her body out the balcony, scaring her friend, "Never once?!"
"Can you stop flexing your ability to fly? Every time I'm afraid you're gonna fall and crash on the ground", he pressed a hand on his heart, trying to stop its pumping loud and fast.
She sweetly smiled, "I'm sorry."
"I forgive you", he stopped being dramatic, using the hand that previously was on the heart to let his chin rest on the palm, the elbow back on the rail, smiling with his sharp teeth at the girl in front of him.
He completely understood why everyone seemed to love Lenora; it was simply impossible not to. She was the prettiest star the sky ever seen, and he felt lucky they met, became friends and once they would be heroes together. He might not seem the type, but he had his future planned in his head, and her, Bakugou, Mina, Sero, Kaminari and Kyoka were everywhere in that future. His best friends would be on his side, and he would be at theirs to the end. His heart screamed at him that they would be together forever at least once a day, but there were moments, very rare moments, where the imagines blurred in his head. Especially while looking at Len.
His heart ached sometimes.
And that was one of those moments.
Her big eyes were full of life but behind them he could sense the melancholy part of her soul she always hid from them.
