A push filled with light

Start from the beginning

Lenora had a light in her that was impossible to ignore. She was a magnet to everyone she met and Shoto fell for that spell too without realizing it.

"What are you thinking so deeply about?", she jokingly poked his arm.

He shook his head, returning to the reality of the moment, "I never had a friend before, and I was thinking how good it feels."

She knew about Shoto's difficult past, and she was glad to be able to bring that sweet boy out of his shell, at least just a bit.

"Well, now you have plenty of them, not just one," she patted his chest, "everyone in class admires you, Shoto."

His heart found place in those words.

But why was he remembering them in a moment like that?

Why during a war?

Why was his heart crying?

Or maybe it was bleeding.

Bleeding a comforting sprite of life. Of power. His fire was growing bigger inside him, and the ice was doing the same, feeling colder than ever while being carried by Iida to his big brother and the rest of his family.

He thought he had brought down Toya giving his best shot, but that wasn't the end. His big brother had something else to show their father. He wanted to be seen. All his life he just wanted to be recognized by Endeavor and now he was on the verge of dead for that crazy wish.

He hoped he could feel the sensation he was feeling in his heart. He wanted that light to reach Toya too, erasing all his pain and killing Dabi for the very last time. He wanted his big brother back.

He wanted to save him, and that light was helping him doing that.

He felt his skin burning from Toya's flames and his mind went on another direction. He knew he was winning someone and losing someone else.

Hot tears started steaming down his cheeks and the corner of his lips raised in a sad smile.

It was enchanting to meet you, class 1A, he thought.

But mostly you, my first friend.

Thank you for this raise.

I'll see you soon.

"Are you sure that's the right way?"

"Of course, I am."

"Liar."

"I agree with you, Len."

"Thanks, Denki."

"Simp."

"I'M NO SIMP!"

"You fucking are, dumbass."

"I agree with Bakugou."

"You better, Elbows."

Len rolled her eyes, sighing, "Stop questioning my method."

"Your method?", Kyoka raised her brows, "We're playing chess in two teams, I don't even know if someone ever did that and you're clearly making up rules."

"I am not."

"She's not."

"You're saying that 'cause you're in her team!", Kirishima complained.

"Are you still fighting? Who's winning?", Mina appeared on the door with a trail full of drinks.

"We're not fighting, we're just discussing rules", Len helped her distributing the glasses.
