This chapter is a bit shorter because I forgot I was writing a book all week, my bad.

They're in? In what? If they're talking about my team to take down the Irken Armada and personally kill Dib then I already told them I'm not doing a team anymore.

"Huh."

"Ugh Zim. Where on your team to get revenge the Irken Armada but not on him who every he is."

"YOURE LYING!"

"How were you the smartest person in our grade! Zim it's either you get killed or imprisoned alone or you have a fighting chance, we even have someone who knows their way around the ship."

Besides her reminding how cool I am, having someone know their way around the ship could prove useful, although I don't trust him and his curly antennas annoy me I could use him.

"Fine. You can come, but there's rules."

"Ugh Zim really rules" Tak rolled her eyes when green #2 put his 3 fingers on her shoulder.

"If there are rules we should definitely follow them it might be fun!"

He was as bright as the sun.... I hated it. I just hope I'm not wasting my time with some wannabes.

"Alright rules number one is no touching Gir, got that? Two, no coughing, sneezing, sniffling, farting, burping, or anything that involves your body making germs."

I had a feeling Tak was going to say something about rule two, she was always annoyed about how much I hated germs, you can't even blame me there so... Germ-my.

"Ok now you're being a control freak, we can't help it sometimes you know, come on Zim do you want out help or are you trying to scare us off?"

It was both but I would never tell her that especially since if she does still decide to come anything bad that'll happen she'll say, "are you still trying to scare us off zIm?!"

"I couldn't care less if you decided to join I did say I was fine without a team you guys are just cargo, gross, germ-my cargo.. now are you guys going to grab your own ship or what I have no room in here and I can't stay here for another minute."

I clicked the button closing the glass separating me from demon girl and Shrek 2.0. I looked around to make sure Gir was still here, which he was he was sitting behind the chair I was sitting in, when we met eyes he tilted his head and started panting.

I smiled then turned back to look for the on button, I first looked up to make sure they where gone, they where and now I just have to hope they know how to use radio.

"Computer, fly out of- foodcourtia- but stay on the outside and connect to any other ships that are close when I give the command."

"Yess sir."

That was a long "yes", is he already annoyed by me? Once again I was flung out of a planet, and once again I was flung on that glass... that glasss.. "COMPUTER! Computer.. please when we leave a planet or go across the galaxy, slow down..."

"Sorry, am I going to fast sir?"

Are you? ARE YOU! I took a deep breath and clapped my hands together, rotating my hands from my chin to the to the buttons in front of me. "Yes. Anytime we launch then stop I get flung against THAT GLASS! Ahem.. That glass."

I now had on an awkward smile and squinted my eyes looking up, not knowing where to look, I didn't even know where the voice came from.

"Oh, right. I'll be more careful."

Thank the heavens. The more I thought the quieter it became, maybe they weren't coming. "Computer can you play songs?"

"I can play a wide variety of songs, what would you like to hear."

I could feel my self beaming, excitedly I asked for my song. "Can you play shooby bee doo?"

"Really-? Fine. Now playing shooby bee doo."

Once the song started I couldn't help but sing along, this song always makes me feel happy.

"Dong shmik shmoop, flee bee dee dee! Ding bling bloop, shooby bee doo!"

I was then interrupted by another ship that appeared in front of me. "Computer, Start the transmission."

"YeS sIr, transmission started."

"Tak, Keef, is that you?"

"Is this the little bug eyed annoyance?"

I never understood why Tak hated me so much, I doubt I did anything to her. "Actually this is ZIMM. I'll send you the coordinates for the next planet where going to go to, we need some supplies before we just take off."

I pressed one of the buttons that would send them the coordinates, I heard Tak scoff in response and a squeal of excitement from Keef.

We then took of with a warning that it was going to take a little longer to arrive, I took this as the perfect moment to ask Keef a question.

"Ehm, Keeff.."

"Yeah!"

"Could you explain why you hate the Dib-stink?"

No response, I knew the Brussel sprout was bad, but was he even worse that someone doesn't want to talk about it?

"Hello?"

"Way to go Zim," I hear on the other line, it wasn't Keef but Tak who was talking. "You broke Keef, he's zoned out, I don't think he likes to talk about what happened."

I don't usually pry into things but this got me interested, although he could still be a traitor for all I know, he could have good dirt on the Dib.

"Earth to Keef.. wait uh.. ugh never mind. Keef!"

"Oh uh, yeah?"

"Dib-stink, what the hell did he do?"

"Oh right! He- he um..."

He stopped talking again, I could assume the look on his face was thinking of something to say. "Like I said earlier!" He suddenly bursted.

"He ruined my chances to become an invader, by umm... by pretending to be my friend!"

Now I was the one who was zoned out, the smart thing to do was not believe his obvious lie, but him saying he pretended to be his friend felt like a stab to the heart.

In that moment it was like I wasn't in control because every part of me said not to believe his shmoopy act, but one.

"I understand." That was all I said, I can't remember if I had a weird tone or not but it got Tak talking, not in a mean tone this time. It was a tone I never thought I would ever hear her use.

It was soft and gentle, it felt as if she was the person you would want to go to, to just hug and cry in her arms.

"Zim. Him is Dib isn't it? I may not understand where you're coming from, and I may hate you more than anyone I've ever met. But I never thought anyone deserved that. And I'm not just talking about him pretending to be your friend, I'm talking about the cause aswell."

The cause. The cause was the Earth being destroyed. If I stood my ground maybe it would have prevented.

I chose to stay silent, it's something I needed to hear but I didn't want to hear it. I slumped down on my chair and blew a raspberry, crossing my arms. Gir then rubbed against one of my legs.

He looked up at me with the most innocent eyes, although they're not real eyes and they looked like the Dib's but they didn't remind me of him. They reminded me that I'm not alone.

I knew Keef and Tak where there with me aswell, but Gir, Gir was the only one who I know would never leave me.

"Destination coming up now...."
