Heyo! IT'S BEEN A LONG WHILE HUH? This chapter will mainly focus on Axel and Saiko, along with the others in the group. It's just a little overview of this chapter. I would like if my readers/you guys could give me ideas on what the group logo could look like and what they could be called! I'm going for something more original than "The Anti-Monster" group. I look forward to your ideas! Let's get on with the chapter! 》
Groaning, Axel returned to the base, thinking about what he saw back at Chara and Frisk's house. He was disgusted by the sight that was there. He wanted to rid the world of this scum that had been freed. You see, Axel's great-great-great grandfather was involved in the sealing of the monsters underground, so he (Axel) had quite a strong hatred for them.
Eventually, after about an hour of walking deep into the woods, he finally arrived back at the base. He moves the vines over the small hole in the ground, then he slipped into the hole. He covered it again from the inside, as to not leave any open space that could be found.
Saiko was walking by and she noticed him. She stopped and waved. "Hey. You're back."
Axel looked up at her and replied, "Yeah. I am. Isn't that fucking obvious?"
Saiko laughed at his bitter attitude and smiled, "Oh Axel, why do you have such an attitude? Did someone throw a monster at you?"
Axel rolled his eyes and started to walk away, "Oh shut up. You know I was thinking about the past again and how much I hate monsters. You should know that by now."
Saiko smiled and followed him, "Of course I knew! I was just fucking with ya, buddy."
Axel stopped and looked at her, "Oh, you asshole. Fuck you, Saiko."
Saiko dramatically gasped, "You did not just fucking say that to me. You are SO FUCKING RUDE." She turned and briskly walked away.
Axel stared at her, "What. You kn- Whatever. Have a good fucking day, bitch."
After that happened, Axel headed to the meeting room, where everyone should be. If they weren't there, he would check the break room, which is where Saiko went. He didn't want to follow her, he'd rather die, so he just.... went the opposite direction.
As he approached the conference room, he looked through the window and noticed that there was no one in there. He was slightly confused, but he opened the door and looked around. Once he was sure that no one was there, he turned around, closed the door behind him and headed towards the break room.
Axel opened the break room door and everyone was in there, seemingly waiting for him. Saiko looked up and smirked, "You should have followed me."
Axel glared at her and replied, "You didn't mention anything about me following you, bitchface."
A very broad-shouldered and well built man stood straight and stared at Axel, "Hey. Don't talk like that. She is our best agent."
Axel cleared his throat and looked into the man's eyes, "I apologize, Vance. I understand that I've offended our best agent." The end of his sentence was sharp and bitter as he hatefully glared at Saiko and she smirked at him.
Avery groaned and hit her head on the table, causing everyone except Axel and Saiko to look at her.
Although muffled, she exerts a frustrated sentence. "Can we PLEASE talk about the matter at hand? We need to discuss Axel's findings!!!"
Kurayami nodded silently in agreement with Avery. He never really talked, but he was fond of Avery. He only spoke in front of her, rarely in front of the others.
Zaara started to speak, taking the lead of the conversation as she always did. She crossed her metal arms and looked at Axel, "So, explain what you saw. You had briefly mentioned that you observed 6 different monsters appearing from out of a portal. They were.... the same as the one you saw prior to that, correct?"
Axel broke his gaze from Saiko and looked at Zaara. "That is correct. I believe one of them stated that his name was "Ink" or something similar. He is the supposed creator of multiverses. Though, I see them all as disgusting creatures. I observed one that seemed more kind than the other, then one that wielded a bloodied axe. Along with one that brandished a blackened knife and.... One was smoking a cigarette. He seemed oddly familiar. The last one was.... distant. Since I have done my research, I believe I can name all of them. The one with the bloodied axe is who people call "Horror", the one with the blackened knife goes by the name "Killer", the kind one is named "Dream", the one who was smoking the cigarette is called..... nothing but the letter "G"... and the final, distant monster is named "Cross". I am certain that these are the genuine names, unless these are nicknames given by disgusting, monster-friendly scum."
Zaara looked at the table, deep in thought as she analyzed this information in her mind. Kurayami watched Avery's expression silently, observing how her face contorted in multiple ways as she tried to paint a mental image of these monsters. Vance sat down once again and took a deep breath, creating a plan on what to do.
Saiko, however, sat down and began to draw, ignoring everyone around her. Axel looked down at her paper in confusion, observing her hand movements.
A little bit later, Saiko looked up from her paper and cleared her throat. "I.... drew what I believe that these monsters look like in physical appearance...."
Everyone stood and gathered around Saiko, eagerly looking at what she had drawn.
Axel of all people had audibly gasped when he saw what she had drawn. What was on the paper before him were near identical copies of the monsters he had seen. "Those... are..... basically identical to what I saw. "
Saiko smiled at the praise, happy that her imaginative nature had helped yet again. Vance grumbled and observed the drawn figures. Avery examined every little detail on the monsters, making sure to memorize what they looked like, in case if she ever saw them.
Kurayami on the other hand, simply took a picture of the drawing with his phone. He didn't feel the need to bother with those things, and he would send it to Avery in case if she forgot, which was highly likely.
Zaara picked up the paper and looked at it, then growled. "I have encountered these monsters before. I recall the crossing of our paths quite well. As I have an external marking for the fight." She clenched her robotic fists and charged up her arms, then punched a massive hole in the wall with the power of both fists. Immediately after, she stormed out of the room, a now crumpled drawing in hand.
Vance watched her leave and groaned. "Looks like we'll have to fix the wall again for the 4th time this week.... We'll talk more about this later. For now, let's just..... rest for the battle that we need to prepare for."
