All i wanted was to be a normal girl living in Haiti i still remember that day when my mom made a deal with the criminal Jeff Lee in Port-au-Prince
Haiti after my dad died i didn't realize at that moment my mom was selling me for money all i remember was the torture they gave me in that house i never looked at my mom as a parent i looked as her as a stranger

I heard the footprint's fade when i saw them leave i thought this is the opportunity to escape as i remember i had a vacation plan for my mom since she was depressed i planned to go to New York with her today but i never got the chance to tell her as i thought i quickly got up and took everything in the house that belong to me

Money, clothes, products, and more was packed in the bag i knew they were coming soon so i ran out of the house laughing i was free as i thought i ran until i saw a renting shop as i ran toward the shop i asked him can I rent a motorbike since i didn't want to spend all the money he said how it was going to get back and i thought and said someone at the airport will bring it here i said excited as he gave me the motorbike i spotted one of the man that worked for Jeff i put the helmet on and left

As i made it to the airport my plane was about to leave so i ran but i saw someone i never thought i was going to see Jeff Lee i ran faster as i told one of the man to let my motorbike be returned to the shop as i ran is saw him said jwenn chen sa ( get that bitch)

I ran toward the plane as i ran in the plane i saw security taking Jeff away i was relieved i look at outside the window and said i was finally free

As the plane was taking i heard my old phone ring i looked in it and it said mom i picked it up and she said
kisa ki mal nan ou poukisa ou te kite mwen te bezwen ou kote ou ye? ou pa reyalize- ( what the fuck is wrong with you why did you leave i needed you where are you? do you not realize-) before she said anything else i hung up and sigh i said to myself at least i don't have to worry about that anymore as i fell asleep

As i woke up the plane was about to land and the pilot says

I got out of my seat as they parked to the gate and as i get off i said what a beautiful city i said

A guy behind me says it's not so special as you think and you turned around and the other guy says sorry he didn't mean that he just had a ruff day before the other guy says something he says hi my name is Andrew and this is my friend Cameron you looked at them and you say um hi my name is Rosaline and I'm not from around here as you said

Andrew smiled and said we're from here why don't we show you around when you settle down he gave he his number and i said sure ill call you when i looked at the two of them i saw one had golden brown hair and blue eyes that was andrew and one had red hair and blue eyes and that was Cameron

Andrew asked where I'm from and i said Haiti and he looked at you and said i always wanted to go there to explore their culture and then Cameron says is Haiti an actual island or is it made up i said maybe if you used your brain you'll figure it out as i snapped at him he looked shocked and said did she just Andrew said yeah she did

You said your Uber was waiting and then Andrew said wait you can always swing back at this hotel we're staying at you said ok see you there as you walked to your Uber and changed the location you where going at

When you arrived at the hotel you saw a dark haired man with emerald eyes with Andrew and Cameron and you were thinking damn that man is attractive then Andrew called you and said oh Rosaline this is my friend Matteo i looked at Matteo one more time and said its nice to meet he greet me in the same way and Andrew said oh Matteo owns the hotel and he got us three rooms instead of two you wanna stay in one of them he asked

You said yeah I would love to with eye contact and Cameron noticed and cleared his throat we both looked at him and Matteo looked angry for some reason i don't know who pissed him off as i thought

Next day

As i went out of my hotel room i saw Matteo coming toward me and i  was running cause i had a bunch of job interviews today i bumped into him by accident and i said sorry he said watch out sweetheart

At night

As i was walking down the alley it was a shortcut to the hotel and then i saw a group of man surrounding a guy that's beat up on the floor as i was about to leave my foot hit something and the group of man looked at me quickly i legit was about to shit my pants but then i was about to go away

Until i felt a rag on my mouth and i felt my eyes shut
