Chapter Five: Best Friends 💙

Rainbow Dash's Pov 9:57am

I slipped on my jean shorts, and my black sweater. Me and Soarin need to talk about him changing, I feel... Rude... For wanting him to change, everyone changes right? Righttt!? WHY DO I FEEL LIKE I'M DOING EVERYTHING WRONG?! I heard a knock at the door, that's probably Soarin... I went downstairs and opened the front door. "Hey beautiful." He smirked, exactly... He is so- "Dash? You there?" He waved his hands in my face, "Hmh? Oh, uh... Hi Soarin..." I said and shook my head, snapping myself out of my trance. "You, okay?" He said and felt my forehead checking if I had a fever. "Y-Yeah." I stuttered, I let him in, and we headed to the living room, we sat down on the couch and Soarin started talking, "Sooo, Dash." he said and looked over to me. "Why do you keep... Flirting with me..." I said sheepishly, "Well, you're just really pretty Dash... And I can't help myself... When we were still talking on the phone, I just imagined I was talking to my best friend, nothing special... But I never really imagined how you turn out to be, once we met again... And girl, was I not expecting you to look so, perfect..." He said and gave me a crooked smile. I felt a light blush appear on my face. "I never really imagined how you'd look either..." I said, "And how do I look?" He wiggled his eyebrows, I rolled my eyes, "Like a dufus." I giggled, "Hey!" He said and picked me up, "Hey! Soarin put me down!" I laughed, I spun me around in circles, till I got dizzy. He set me down on the ground, but I was still a little dizzy... "W-Woah!" I said and fell right into Soarin's chest. "You, okay?" I chuckled, "Yep, totally." I said, brushing myself off. "Now this is my Soarin, my old bestie." I giggled, he smiled... And we sat back down onto the couch.

Time Skip 12:05pm

I haven't had such a good conversation with someone for a while now. Soarin and me have been walking around town for hours now, *Soarin's tummy growls* I looked over at Soarin trying not to laugh as he turned crimson red from embarrassment, "Someone's hungry." I laughed, "Can we get food pleaseee?" he said giving me his puppy eyes, "Alright, alright, you don't have to get me an adorable face." I chuckled, "I'm swuper cwute!" he said cutely, okay, okay, stop being sappy Dash... "Uh huh, let's just go." I said, dragging Soarin behind me. We walked over to Starbucks and since they didn't have pie there... Soarin probably would have killed them if I hadn't dragged him outta there.

"Hello, welcome to Starbucks how many I help you?" It was the same guy from last time! You know the Applejack twin guy, but not the guy from the cruise. I really need to stop describing him like that, what's his name... "Apple pie, and a sandwich please." Soarin smiled, "Uhm, sir... We are out of stock on pies... So, if you-" he started, "WHAT?! N-NO P-PIE?!" He said and started shaking, "I. WANT-" Soarin started, "I'm so sorry, uhm, sir... He's just hungry, I'll have two sandwiches please. Oh, and also to Caramel Frappuccino." I smiled, "Thank you, also my name is Christals, but you can call me Chris." He smiled, I smiled back and dragged Soarin to a table.

"Soarin did you really have to embarrass me in front of these people?!" I sighed, "Hmph..." I groaned, I ignored him and got the food over at the counter. "Here Soarin, I'll pay for it." I said, giving him the food and drinks. "Uh, you sure you don't want me to pay? I did make a scene." I said, his cheeks flushing a light shade of pink, "No, it's fine Soar, I got this." I winked.

Present...

"Soarin, it's okay... It's not like anyone recorded it." I said comforting Soarin, he was a little worried about how he acted in Starbucks, and thought it might be in the newspaper... "B-BUT-" I interrupted him, "Shhh, Soarin... Let's go home." I said and gave him a pat on the shoulder. "O-okay..." he mumbled.

Time Skip 3:10pm

Soarin's Pov

*TV Noise* Me and Dash are watching a movie watching my house, she really wanted to watch this movie about... Soccer... But I decided a little rom-com time wouldn't hurt. She HATES romantic movies, so I'm gonna make her love them. *Dash yawns* I looked over to DASH who had just fallen asleep on my shoulder. Aww, she's adorable... I laid my head on hers, and swung my arm around her waist, I'm sure she wouldn't mind... I continued to watch the movie, until I heard her mumbling something... Hopefully she's not scared, I started to stroke her hair until she calmed down... Her hair is so SOFTTT!!! So, satisfying, I love her so much... "I love you Dashie." I said and kissed her cheek, "Love you too Soarin..." I heard her mumble, I felt myself turn crimson red as she said and. She cuddled into my chest, and I swear I saw her smile. Ohhh, I like this new Dash... I smirked, I have an idea... I love to prank her... I slowly removed my shirt, not to wake her up. She'll love this...

Later...

Rainbow's Pov 4:37pm

I woke up cuddled up next to, S-Soarin?! Without a shirt on?! I felt blood rushing up to my cheeks, he's abs are so defined- GAH! OMG! STOP IT DASH! I just sat still in my position, his arms wrapped around me, his head on mine... Heaven... UGH SHUT IT! Actually, heaven would be his- AYE NO! WE ARE CHILD FRIENDLY HERE! I looked at him as he slept, he's so perfect... I looked straight at his lips... Control yourself Dash... They look so tempting- "Dashie, if you wanted to kiss me just say so!" I heard a voice say, oh no... I have this habit... Of talking out loud... I blushed at his comment, I mean I do but... He's my best friend... He suddenly pinned me to the couch, him over me... "S-Soarin, what a-are you do-" I stuttered, "I know you love me Dash." He smirked, OMG HE'S SO HWOT!!! STOP IT SELF! "I am really..." He said leaning in, he was looking straight at my lips, I started to get nervous... I mean yeah, I like him, but I feel like this is going to fast! Soarin cupped my cheek and started to lean in... "LISTEN SOARIN! I LIKE YOU OKAY! A LOT! BUT THIS IS GOING TOO FAST!" I shrieked, not paying attention to what I had said, "Dashie, I wouldn't do that to you silly. I just wanted to do this." He said and gave me a quick peck on my lips. He smirked at how red I was, I-I... He slipped back on his shirt, Aww man! The view is gone! UGH! STOP IT! He walked over to me, and whispered in me ear... "Ever heard of a prank?" I suddenly realized what he did. I felt a wave of sadness, and rage. HOW COULD HE DO THAT?! That's just cruel! He probably planned this! I looked at him with a hurt face and then ran off to my house. "Wait Dash!" I heard him shout...

Time Skip 8:59pm

WHY'D I DO THAT?! WHY?! Now he thinks I have a fat crush on him! You do... I KNOW! NOW SHUT IT! I just kinda like how he looks... And how he is considerate for how I'm feeling... He usually does some pranks that I hate him for... But teasing me?! That's my limit! I wanna cry right now, but I won't... Because Rainbow Iris Dash, doesn't cry! So, I shall... Save my tears, for another day!

(A/N: What? Don't judge me!)

I will not cry over a dufus like him! I am a strong independent- "Uhm, Dashie? Someone wants to see you." I heard the muffled voice of Fire Streak outside my bedroom door. "Let'em in." I sighed, I was shocked and angry to see Soarin... Speak of the devil... "Dash, before you kick me out. I just wanna say I'm really sorry... That was wrong of me to do that to you." He sighed, "Ya think?!" I said and sat on my bed. "Yes, yes, judge me all you want. I just- *Sigh* I can't... I'll just go home. I'm sorry Dash, and I hope you can forgive me. Invading your privacy was wrong." He said and was about to leave, I grabbed his hand... "Soarin, I guess I can forgive you... Only because you are going to cry over me for days..." I smirked, "Same old Dash." He chuckled, "Goodnight Dashie." He smiled, "Night Soarin." I said, I tippy toed and gave him a kiss on the cheek. I held up my laughter seeing him turn red. After he left, I smiled, today might not have been amazing... But it was a good day anyways...
