I sprint after Tris. She keeps triping which makes her look like a complete dummy. Tris suddenly turns around and shoots me in the arm. The bullet sinks in my skin and I quickly pull it out. I lose my balence and fall on the ground, hard. The impact knocks the wind out of me. Blood flows the hole that is now in my arm. I curse and slowly, steadly start to get up. I go to the nearest tree and grab a piece of moss. I wrap it around my arm and hold it into place. I climb a tree carefully. It makes my arm throb, but I need to get up high. Once I'm in the tree I move onto one of the thick branches and lay down. I wrap a blanket from the backpack around me and drift in and out of sleep. The pain in my arm and nightmares wake me up throughout the night. Finally, I give up trying to sleep and lay down, dreading what awaits me at dawn.
