𝕬𝖌𝖆𝖎𝖓𝖘𝖙 𝖓𝖆𝖙𝖚𝖗𝖊．

𝖲𝖾𝗍𝗁'𝗌 𝖻𝖺𝖼𝗄𝗌𝗍𝗈𝗋𝗒 （𝖧𝗎𝗇𝗀𝖾𝗋𝗇 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝖵𝗂𝖼𝖾－𝖵𝖾𝗋𝗌𝖺'𝗌 𝖿𝖺𝗇𝖼𝗁𝗂𝗅𝖽）

I thought I would never be able to get out of that void, those immense dreams and nightmares that boy had. I was his second personality, I was worthless, he didn't even know I existed. In his dreams, I immediately catapulted myself into terrible and disturbing apparitions, I controlled his dreams and tried not to let him come out of them alive but to remain together with his curse: me. With each passing day I grew more terrifying and grumpy to the others trapped in his dreams, but each time I swore and promised that I could get each of them out of it. I was like a God to them, a future savior. But honestly, I didn't even know how to get out of there: I didn't tell anyone, I didn't want to look like a fool. The only one who knew was Keeva, my fiancée. I adored her, my whole life.. it was like we complemented each other. With her long green hair and her long dresses she sent me to the stars. I was madly in love with her, but that all ended. She had supernatural powers, but never as much as mine. We were strong enough, both of us, to create an entire portal to uncharted worlds. Every day, we practiced creating a portal to the human world so we could both escape from those foolish people. I was doing immense research on how to create that kind of portal, at any cost. I noticed with each training, that to create an even stronger portal to human life, it took even more power, over and over again. Each of us both had like a "ball" of power in our body, which could destroy a whole country, creating a real portal. I looked at my girlfriend, and I was like "yes, to escape from here, I have to kill her while we make the final portal." That thought tormented me, I had gone crazy. She was very suspicious of me: I looked at her, eating her with my eyes. All the people were made up of eyes, and I was the only one who ate eyes. I was trained on it too, but I loved that rubbery feel in my teeth. So people thought I was a "cannibal". Keeva knew it, but she got over it. Day and day that went by, I couldn't resist anymore. With each passing day, I became more and more of a shitty person, a real animal in attitude. All I did was talk back to Keeva, and my other friends. Everyone started hating me, throwing mud at me, discarded food, trash and whatever they could. Keeva, she saw me down...and that was her big mistake. I was up on that goddamn log, where Keeva and I watched the stars together on hot summer nights. She always found me there, but that day I was not worthy to talk to anyone. She came up to me with that sweet and docile look on her face and said these words to me:

"Seth, don't think about them.. how about tonight we'll do the portal? Come on.. we've been training for months and months! Don't tell me that everything we've done has been in vain?!"
"Keeva, it's not the time, please leave."
"You always tell me Seth! What is happening to you, why are you acting like this?! Before you used to hug me, cuddle, kiss and tell me everything...now it looks like i'm engaged to a corpse! Still, silent, always in the same place!"

I looked up, and I looked at her with those red eyes straight into her soul: I was hungry for her soul, skin, eyes, and every part of her body.. all for ME! I stood up and replied:

"You don't want me anymore, right? I knew it, don't worry. You know what? Let's do the portal now, everyone will go their own ways as if nothing had happened."
"But-"
"I said let's do the portal. Did you think what we did was in vain? Not anymore."
"*sigh* but know that I don't want to leave you Seth, I will always be with you. I've told you so many times, I could join you even when I'm dead."

I didn't say anything, I looked at her as if to say "Sure, right." It was known that she died mauled, I couldn't take it anymore. My mouth was watering. I watched her red eyes comparable to even apples: I started putting my hands on the ground to create the portal and I watched her eye to eye .. when the portal appeared, I jumped on her blocking her with my shoulders making her hit her head against the trunk behind us. She clung to my horns trying to free herself from me by kicking and punching me in the stomach. She screamed my name while I was already there tearing her right eye and slowly every part of her body. I didn't notice the people arriving, but I saw her blood flowing on the ground giving more power to the portal. Keeva pulled off one horn and drove it into me and scraped my shoulder from the tip, creating a very deep wound. Half the people surrounded me but I pushed them back, turned and saw the portal there waiting for me. I leapt off Keeva, and ran for my only way out and safety. Before throwing myself into the latter, people pulled me trying in every way not to make me leave. Slowly, the portal was closing and I could never go back after entering it. It was dark, and I felt like my face and body deform: my body was like it was on fire. And after 20 seconds of that tremendous pain, I couldn't see anything anymore. I woke up in an alley, filled with trash and empty beer bottles. I was like a cloak of leaves on me, and completely naked underneath. I got up slowly and walked through the streets of that strange city with a limp. From afar, I noticed a familiar boy...as if I'd seen him before. I immediately ran towards him and threw myself on him. He lost his balance and fell to the ground and I looked him straight in the eye.
