It was already twelve in the morning when I decided to begin the operation. Sure, it was the next day, but I wanted to get this task done as soon as possible, since I have nothing really interesting going on in my break.

I've spent most of the night reviewing the plan my Boss has sent me. To briefly summarize it, it's best to go in the dead of night, sneak into the White House in a uniform, and then take the document and leave, making sure to destroy it once I get out of the White House.

Adjusting the cuffs to my sleeves, I looked at myself in the mirror, making sure I seemed professional enough to actually work at the White House.

Huh. I mumbled in my head as I shifted in multiple poses. I do look kinda snazzy. No- Agh. Slapping myself mentally, I focused back on the task.

Right. I have to get to the White House right now. I said in my head as I began to leave my apartment room. Since I don't really have a car, and I can't take a ride to the White House without suspicion, I'm gonna have to run there myself.

Closing the door, I waited until my eyes adjusted to the darkness of the street before I took off, running to the White House as soon as I could.

. . . Timeskip . . .

Huffing, I finally made it to the White House. I panted to get back some of the oxygen I lost while I observed the building in front of me. Although it was still nighttime, the walls of the building glowed from the lights coming from the yard.

I can't stand out here in the open for too long. I said in my head as I straightened my posture and began to walk to the side of the building. It's better if I sneak in from a window rather than the front door.

Going through and around some bushes, I realized that all the windows were closed, however there were some windows where the rooms were dark. Ah, I guess it's because the room is closed and with no one inside. That's my entry way.

Carefully but swiftly, I broke one of the windows with my elbow, trying to be careful and not make too much of a break in, otherwise security would be swarming after me. Hopping into the room, it was definitely dark, and I gave some time for my eyes to adjust.

Weird, I guess I must've stumbled upon a storage of some type. I mumbled to myself as I looked around, walls being covered with cabinets upon cabinets of paperwork. The drawers were labeled with years, indicating what time each paperwork was made.

However, the document I was after wasn't in here.

I walked to the door and opened it, revealing the bright and lit hallway of the White House. Closing the door to the storage room to hide the break in, I roamed around to figure out what section of the White House I was in.

"And I told her, you're just overreacting." A person said to another person who was walking past me. "Oh, well what do we have here, a servant?!" The man changed his tone into venom as he looked at me.

"Ehehe, please calm down Joe..." The other person said while trying to advert 'Joe's' gaze from me. "Don't mind him, he's drunk."

"I see." I replied, crossing my arms. "You should get him to rest then, before he trashes the hall with his rudeness." My tone was harsh, but my message got across as the person simply nodded at me, and led Joe down the hall more.

I just stood there for a brief moment., trying to process what just happened. How did they not realize I was an intruder?! I murmured to myself as I looked at the sign of one of the rooms. Since this is a worker's room, I assume I'm in the private complex, where several officials work here.

Continuing down the hall, I stopped until I reached the room number that I was assigned to look in. Ahah, Room 4-J.

I opened the door and closed it behind me once I entered. However just at first glance, I froze in my tracks as I observed the room more carefully. Covering the walls were the flags of the United States, ranging from the thirteen colonies all the way to the fifty states.

Yikes. Sighing, I walked over to the drawers to begin my search. Whoever works here must be some kind of patriot. Even worse, a loud mouthed patriot like America himself.

Speaking of America, I haven't seen him in a while. Maybe I should attend a world meeting someday, just to see how all the personifications are doing.

I began to hunt for the document, checking every folder for the tag with Russia in it. Although it was a long and tedious task, along with the fact that the longer I stay here the more of a chance I could get caught, I need to be careful in case I take the wrong document.

"Come on, come on..." I mumbled to myself as I moved on to the 5th drawer, skimming through all the folders. "Russia... Russia... Here."

Carefully pulling out the document, I checked the date to make sure I had gotten the correct one.

"Finally, this did not have to take so long." I sighed as I tucked the document to the inside pocket of my suit, making sure it was snug in cleanly. Just as I was about to leave the room and the White House problem free, the door unexpectedly opened.

"What are you doing in here?!" A voice snapped me to stand up straighter. Turning around, my eyes slightly opened wider.

"Ah, sorry." I shrugged, trying to keep my posture straight and calm. "I must've walked into the wrong room by mistake. I'll take my leave then, and make sure this won't happen again."

Walking to the door and around the person, I thought I would've made it out barely getting caught. But suddenly, a firm grip was placed on my shoulder, which pulled me back inside the room, pinning me against the wall.

Squeaked at the sudden action, I stared at the person in shock as he glared at me, his sharp blue eyes pierced through mine. "Let. Go. Of. Me." I demanded, shocked at his sudden physical attack on me.

Although I may be stealing a document which is illegal, that doesn't mean I should be shoved into the wall and harassed! Especially by a worker!!! I screamed internally.

"I don't know who you are, or why you're here, but I'm not letting you leave this place without the po-" He muttered under his breath, his face getting ever so close to mine despite me pushing my head against the wall.

However, I raised my leg and swiftly gave him a hard kick between his legs, causing him to yelp in pain. Taking his opening to my advantage, I shoved him off of me, and dashed out of the room as I heard him groan in pain.

That will teach you not to touch a woman that way!! I smirked slightly as I ran back to the room where I came from, making sure to look around before each turn to avoid more witnesses.

Once I finally arrived at the door to the storage room, I looked around and made sure no one was around or following me before I walked inside and closed the door behind me.

I took this time to get a breather, and plan out my next move. I finally have the document, but not without a witness... Should I do something about him? Once I finished that train of thought, I jumped back out of the window, and began to run back to my apartment.

I should just let him be. It's not like he knows my real name either. I just hope he doesn't check the contents of the drawers to see if I stole anything.

. . . Timeskip . . .

Walking back into my apartment, I closed the door behind me, making sure to lock it. That took a while... I said in my head, sighing as I turned to the clock to check the time. It's almost three in the morning, and I have work tomorrow!!

I groaned as I set the document down on the table and changed back into more comfortable clothes. I'll just destroy it later, for now I need to get some sleep. Why did I even decide to do this on a work night?!

Right, it's because I was bored. But I didn't think it would take three hours to find it!!

Jumping on my bed comfortably, I set my alarm once again for six in the morning, and snuggled myself deeper into the bedsheets and blankets to feel more warm.

I felt almost as if I never actually went to the White House.
