Obsession

The rebels were morning the lost of the princess and the other freedom fighters, since they have gotten message they was sent to them.

Elias lets out a small sigh as he wipes away his tears, he really didn't blame Silver for not being able to help cause of his injuries causing him harm when he use his powers. But it was the fact that they lost not only those six, but the children.

"I'm s-"

"It's not your fault Silver, it's no body's fault...after all we didn't have any idea that Eggman would attack" The squirrel said as he turns away from the grave of his sister.

"I..." Silver felt tears in his eyes, as he just felt like a failure, first he failed to save Blaze, now this.

Nicole wraps her arms around the albino hedgehog, "It's okay Silver..."

Elias started walking over to the computer and started to typing away, it was kind of pointless in trying to fight this war that they can't obviously win, no matter how many ideas that Sally had, none of them would've worked, not when that Entity is working together with past villains who had tried.

"So what are we doin' then give up..." Bunni said.

"You saw how bad it was, if anything its best to just surrender...we can't lose anymore innocent civilians" Elias said as he gave the prison on last command.

"The ships are already for departure..." Antoine stated.

Silver looks down at his damaged hands, he never really felt so defeated before in his life...not back when Mephiles first killed Sonic, he still had hope like everyone else, but now.

"Come on...it's not safe here anymore" Elias said motioning to Silver who nodded and followed after him, the ship had always got what remained of the rebels, that survived the attack against Eggman, which was only a three hundred civilian, out of a billion. The Squirrel hooked Nichole up to the ships data, at least Tails was able to build a ship before he was captured.

It was a slow start but the boat started to sail away from what remained of Prison Island, mostly to follow coronates of a hidden location, that the rebels were gonna go to after they saved Sonic, but seeing that they failed...it was better off to just flee and started a new instead of keep fighting a battle that they knew they were gonna win.

Silver can only look back at the island, if anyone deserved to die at the hands of that entity it should have been him.

"So this is it?" Bunni asked.

"I can only hope that those kids at least made it out, and not end up like Sally" Elias said as he sits down on one of the benches.

"Ten years, and two weeks...I think everyone had last hope by then..." Bunni stated as she lets out a small sigh.

"How long is gonna be for us to get there?" Silver asked.

"Two months at most...Sonic made sure that it was safest route to get there. Just wish Sally would've just taken that sacrifice instead of trying to wait for someone to come to her" Elias commented as he just shook his head.

The rest of the ship was quiet, some of them knew the rule reasons why Sally had refused to bring the rebels to safety, she just made up a lying saying that they will their hero back no matter what.
