James snorted. "Of course Mar. You don't drive."
I rolled my eyes. I knew that. I just never got around to it. I didn't really care for it. If I couldn't get a ride, I walked home. I had no problem for it.
"Marcella!" I heard my name yelled all the way down the hall.
I looked over, seeing Marcy trying to get around people. Which wasn't hard for her seeing as her tiny form allows her to do so.
"Why does she always have to yell your name down the hall?" James asked, leaning against his locker.
I smiled. "You do it too. Besides she's loud. You should be used to it by now."
"I know. But I'm your best friend. It's allowed."
Ike interrupted, raising his hand as if he were in class. "Um, correction I'm her best friend."
Rolling my eyes, I swung my bag onto my shoulders, slamming my locker shut. "She is too," I retorted, before Marcy was in ear shot.
"Hey," she said breathlessly.
"Hey Marcy. Where's Mo?" I asked.
Marcy and Mo. They were twins. Almost never without the other. Also like any sibling duo they hated but absolutely loved each other. Mo was a nickname. Nobody knew his real name besides Marcy of course. They were the best. Loud as hell but they brought life to whatever the situation.
"Had to talk to a teacher. He'll be here soon," Marcy said.
"Alright," I said. "Wanna head out to the parking lot?"
They all nodded and we were on our way.
Marcy just so happen to be Ike's crush.
Did he tell her? No.
Is he going to tell her? I looked at him, looking at her talking to Mo who joined us as we walked outside.
The answer is no.
Will I ever tell James?
The answer to that is hell no.
James bumped his shoulder against mine. "What's on your mind?"
I smiled and shook my head. "Nothing." Which caused him to raise his eyebrow.
"You sure?"
"Yeah I'm sure."
"Who's ready for food?!" Mo screamed across the parking lot, making some students that were hanging around look over at us.
Marcy and Mo went in one car, Ike in his own, and I went with James.
When we got situated in his car and he started his car he asked, "So question?"
"Yes?"
"Do you like Ike?"
He sounded serious and looked mildly annoyed.
Just to mess with him I said, "I don't know maybe." Shrugging my shoulders trying to be serious as possible.
"Really," he asked flatly. "Why?"
"Why not? He attractive and a good guy."
He made a face. "He's not that attractive."
"James what's your issue with him?" I asked him genuinely wondering. He's disliked Ike every since I became friends with him. He met Ike through me.
"I don't dislike him. I dislike like some of the things he does and says. More specifically to you. You're my best friend."
