*Jordan's POV*
We've arrived, finally.
After Britt dragged me out of the car because wasn't ready to wake up from my nap, we finally made it out of the car. Closing the door, we admired our appearance through our reflection in the window and adjusted our clothing before heading inside. Dancing to the music as we stepped into the entryway behind Ivory; it was already humid, and cups of liquor were scattered over the entrance. We were hit in the face by the smell of alcohol, weed, and a large ass crowd of people pushing past one another to get to the bathroom before we could even get through the entryway of the living room.
What the hell is going on in here?
I look over at the girls and see Britt smiling and bouncing to the music, while Ivy is looking around with her arms crossed. I could tell by the look on Brittny's face she was activated and ready to have a good time. We walk into the living room to see groups of people dancing or attempting to converse over the music with one another. In the midst of my crowd scanning, I could've sworn I saw someone sucking a girl's nipple through her t-shirt, but I had to be mistaken. I didn't know what kind of party it was, but I knew it wasn't that kind of party. Stepping away from the girls, I walk to the mirror to reapply my lip gloss, that had smeared while I was asleep in the car. I notice the reflection of someone walking out of the room behind me before I could turn away from the mirror.
When I turn around, I see Da'Shayla walking out, holding hands with her boyfriend. They are such a strange couple; I always notice them together at lunch. Well, I guess there's nothing strange about that, but I mean, her boyfriend is barely in school, and she's usually running around with the cheerleaders; they're never really together in the halls anymore. I turned back around to the girls when I noticed they were no longer beside me and not back where I left them either. I walk around and see Brittny in the middle of the floor with her hands around her ankles, throwing her ass in a circle. One thing about Britt's thick ass is that she's going to draw attention with her body, and the way she's looking tonight with that bodysuit on has her ass moving like water, and the pussyprint is in the building.
My best friend looks good tonight OK!
I hype her up from a distance as I walk over to her, trying to avoid slipping in these boots. Once I get behind her, I pull out my phone and start recording as I hype her up. I tag her and post it on my Snapchat, I probably sound insane in the background of that video. Another memory for tonight, this party is definitely going to be interesting. I start to dance with Brittny until I hear the song change to me and Ivory's favorite song. I take a glance around and realize Ivy was never with Brittny over here. Turning towards the kitchen, I notice a swarm of people I didn't see when I first came around, and I wonder whether or not she's over there. I asked Britt if she wanted a drink, so she'd follow me into the kitchen to look for Ivy, and as I turned the corner to get inside the kitchen, I bumped directly into an enthusiastic Ivory, who was running headfirst into the party.
"Girl, what the hell are you doing?" I try to yell over the music.
"Bestie I was looking for you; this is our songggg!" she yells as she starts whining her hips to "The Weekend" by SZA.
This was honestly my favorite song to come out of 2017. It's just something about what SZA did on this song that just made me, and Ivy fall in love with it over the summer of last year, and it's been with us ever since.
I love this era of music. Summer 17 brought us some bangers, and this summer 18's music hasn't disappointed us yet. All the real artists are dropping music again, and every party has been a hit that's being documented on Snapchat daily.

After the song ended, the girls went into the kitchen to get some drinks and get the night started. Ivy and Britt grabbed the tequila and took two shots before making them a mixed drink of Cîroc and cranberry juice, while Jordan just poured a fourth of a Henny in her cup and decided to sip it for a while instead of taking shots or making a whole drink that she'd have to carry around for the night.
