"Hello, Ms. Addams." Larissa ground out with a frown. The rest of the dark family was standing behind the woman, their faces read indifference.
"I see she's still up to her tricks."
"How many times do I have to explain to you, Morticia Addams, this is no trick. It is in her nature." Larissa defended Wednesday who started squirming trying to leave the room. Weems would not let her leave her neck.
Morticia scoffed, and with a graceful wave, she looked to the side. Gomez is not too far off watching his biological daughter and wife having a half interaction.
"Cara mia, maybe we should leave?"
"Not until Wednesday admits she's faking this hobby." Morticia took a step forward making Larissa take a step back. The shapeshifter moved the buggy in between themselves.
Wednesday was holding her breath, unsure about what was about to happen. She didn't want to go back. Larissa wouldn't let that happen if she had anything to do with it.
The goth girl half growled into the woman holding her. Morticia smirked hearing it come from her.
"See? She can still do everything she did before she decided this was her new lifestyle. She's faking it."
Larissa rolled her eyes next, "You are pissing her off by being near her. She growls all the time, and you need to leave us alone."
Pugsley tugged on his mother's long sleeve. "C'mon- Let's go before something bad happens..."
Morticia took hold of him by his ear, pulling him backwards.
"Stay out of this, dear. I love you, but your sister... needs to be dealt with."
A quiet sob came from Larissa's neck, and she patted Wednesday's padded bottom. The action made Morticia scoff, and she reached an arm out. Weems jerked away from her, scowling at her.
"Don't touch her. For the final time, this is no hobby. It's a real thing, she's not pretending. She has a headspace, and there is nothing you can do about it. Even if you were to take her-" Wednesday whimpered. "Which you're not, she would still drop. Do you really want to be dealing with nappies, feeding, nap times and endless cleaning?"
"When she lives with me again, she wouldn't be dropping. Because it's not a real thing. Wednesday, darling, won't you come back home? If you come with me now, we can forget this ever happened."
The little in Weems' arms hiccuped, wrapping her arms around her caregivers neck. She nuzzled closer, closing her eyes and trying to cover her ears with her arms.
Before anyone could respond the shopkeep came from around the corner holding a broom.
"If you are not going to buy anything, get out." The woman waved her broom at the group with a narrowed look. "You two, stay as long as you like." She told Larissa as Wednesday lifted her head to look at the old woman.
"This isn't over, Weems." Moricia narrowed her eyes as Gomez took her arm, opening the shop door. "I will be seeing you shortly. Let's go. Mon Chér."
Pugsley looked back with sad eyes before he was dragged out by Thing and the door shut with a ding.
Larissa crumbled against the wall her back was to in the shop, Wednesday held close to her as they both took a moment to themselves.
"Do you need anything, dear?" The old woman asked as she moved the pram out of the way. "Would you like to take a seat in the office for a moment?"
"I don't wanna be a bother-"
