Two years had passed since The Helix Effect's first gig at the local bar, and Amai couldn't believe how far they had come. They had played at dozens of venues, and their music was now being played on the radio. Fans were lining up to buy their merchandise, and they had even been invited to play at a music festival.

Amai was grateful for all the success, but what she really loved was playing with her friends. They had become like family to her, and she couldn't imagine her life without them. They continued to write new songs together, and their music had evolved into something even more powerful and meaningful.

Whenever Amai picked up her guitar, she felt a sense of peace and happiness that she had never experienced before. She was lost in the music, and nothing else mattered. She had forgotten about her feelings for Tom and was content with the love and support of her bandmates.

They had been through so much together, and Amai knew that they would always be there for each other. They had formed a bond that was unbreakable, and she felt lucky to have them in her life.

As they prepared for their next gig, Amai looked around at her bandmates and smiled. They were all so different, but they shared a common passion for music. They had come so far together, and she knew that they would continue to make amazing music for years to come.

Amai felt a rush of adrenaline as she stepped onto the stage, her guitar in hand. The crowd roared with excitement as she took her place alongside her bandmates. Dressed in a low-rise mini skirt, cropped jumper, and a puffer jacket, she felt confident and ready to perform.

As they began to play, Amai lost herself in the music. The sound of the guitar, the beat of the drums, and the energy of the crowd all combined to create an electrifying atmosphere. She sang her heart out, pouring all of her emotions into the lyrics.

When it was time for her to sing a verse with Enya, Amai felt nervous. She had never sung in front of such a large audience before, but she knew that she had to give it her all. As she sang, she looked out into the crowd and saw Tom staring at her in awe.

For a moment, she felt a pang of sadness. She had forgotten about her feelings for him, but seeing him again brought back memories of their time together. She quickly looked away, not wanting to let her emotions show.

As the concert came to an end, Amai felt a sense of accomplishment. They had played their hearts out, and the crowd had loved every minute of it. She looked out into the sea of faces, feeling grateful for the opportunity to share her music with so many people.

As she walked offstage, Amai couldn't help but wonder what Tom was thinking. She knew that she had to focus on her music and her bandmates, but a small part of her still longed for what could have been.

As Amai took a drag of her cigarette, she felt a sense of peace wash over her. The show had been amazing, and she was so proud of herself and her bandmates.

As she exhaled, she heard footsteps approaching and turned to see Tom walking towards her. She felt a wave of anger wash over her, and she took a step back.

"What are you doing here, Tom?" she asked, her voice cold.

Tom looked down at the ground, his hands in his pockets.
"I just wanted to congratulate you on the show. You were amazing, Amai."

Amai shook her head, feeling a mix of emotions.
"That doesn't give you the right to just show up here, Tom. You hurt me, and I don't know if I can ever forgive you for that."

Tom looked up at her, his eyes filled with regret.
"I know, Amai. I messed up, and I'm sorry. I just want to make things right between us."

Amai took another drag of her cigarette, feeling her anger rise.
"How could you do it, Tom? How could you ghost me? I thought we had something real."

Tom looked up at her, his eyes filled with tears.
"I don't know, Amai. I was stupid and I made a mistake. I just want to make things right between us."

Amai shook her head, feeling a sense of betrayal wash over her.
"I don't know if I can ever trust you again, Tom. You broke my heart, and I don't know if I can ever forgive you for that."

Tom looked down at the ground, tears streaming down his face.
"I understand, Amai. I just want you to know that I'll always love you, no matter what."

Amai took a deep breath, feeling a mix of emotions. She knew that she needed to focus on her music and her bandmates, but a part of her couldn't help but wonder if she and Tom could ever find their way back to each other.

"bye tom".
