Chapter 3: Late Versus Early

     "I can't believe I lost..." Said Jack, dejectedly.
     "Aw, it's nothing." Fred replied, "I just got lucky is all."
     "It doesn't matter. Next time, I'll beat you for sure!"
     Suddenly, two people burst through the door to the lab.
     "Took ya long enough." Gary remarked, "Who's your friend?"
     "I-I'm Billy." He answered.
     Amy then proceeded to tell them what happened, "So I was wondering if maybe you could let him have a pokemon?"
     "How old are you, Billy?"
     "I-I'm 8."
"Well... Normally you'd need to be at least 10 to get a starter... I guess I can make an exception, but...I only have 1 traditional starter left. Meaning one of you will have to get something else."
     "Ooh! Ooh! Can I have a Pikachu like Ash?" Billy asked excitedly.
     "No... I don't have any Pikachu... But that does give me an idea
