Hau had looked down conflicted as he of course found it dumb how Ash's Rowlet had seemingly looked defeated but it used Subtitute at the last possible second and avoided the attack from his Decidueye. As he also felt somewhat embarrassed that his fully evolved Decidueye had lost agaisnt its first evolutionary form Rowlet.

The 2 of them had fist bumped each other as Keenan and Tatsumi are surprised to hear that those 2 are....cousins, which also got Keenan thinking if he's also related to Hau but he didn't sense any similarities to him or Kala.
