She runs over to Hank, giddy to tell him her findings. I see her point to me, almost like she is proud.

I continue to look at the body, making sure there isn't anything I missed. To no avail, I turn to the android on the ground next to me, a girl who seems to be shut down.

I kneel, one knee up. I touch her arm, moving it just to make sure there is no sort of reaction. I hear Hank and Y/N step up behind me, and I turn my head to face them. Hank points at it, asking, „Could you.. Make it alive again?" He scoffs, almost like he is sick and tired of his job.

Well, he is.

Y/N kneels down next to me, her eyebrows furrowed. She stares at the android, and her mind seems busy. Hank only stands behind us, his arms crossed. I hear Y/N next to me let out a deep breath, tilting her head slightly. Looking at the body, I respond, „I can make it come back, maybe. If I can, it might only last for a minute or two." Hank seems to start an answer, but Y/N interjects. „We need to have questions prepared. If we just wait till she wakes up, we are going to be scrambling. If we only have 60 to 120 seconds, we need to know what we are gonna ask."

She wraps her index finer around the androids chin, tilting its head. It's hair falls off of its face, lifeless. I see her scowl slightly. „Ask it if its the killer. If not, who the killer is." Y/N continues, not looking at us, only staring at the android. „Make sure to ask it if it was an accident, and how the situation occurred. A motive, perhaps." Her eyes go slim, focusing.

After a moment of silence, she sighs. She steps back, standing so she can be right behind me. I take this as my signal to start, so I take out the androids front panel. Thousands of wires lay there, but one single one is cut. A red, thin wire that is only centimeters away from its other part. I delicately grab the two pieces, slowly dragging them until they touch each other. A huge spark is made, sending me to jump back a little from surprise.

The androids eyes flicker open, and she seems to rise up slightly. As soon as she realizes she is awake again, looking at her surroundings, she immediately backs up into the wall.

„D-Don't hurt me!! Please-!"

I cut the android off, knowing we have very little time. „Did you kill this man?" I ask, assertive. The android flinches, starting to cry. „No! I-It was someone else!" „Who?"

She  shakes, her chin burrowing into her chest. I ask again, „Who?"

She lifts her head up, „A Traci. A- A blue haired Traci. He said h-he wanted to play with two girls... and... he started getting violent! We were scared... I was scared. He hit us, so... so... the Traci killed him." Looking up and down at her body, she has multiple marks. Cuts, bruises, maybe even a bit of swelling.

Y/N steps in, „So this was an act of self defense?" The android quickly responds, her light flickering red. „Yes, yes I promise it was-„ Y/N cuts in again, „Did you see where this android went?"

The androids limbs go weak, her eyes fluttering shut like butterflies. She only mutters out a groan, maybe even a whisper for help.

The room is silent for a moment, watching the android loose the very little life it had left. Feeling the ambiance in the room get... stiff, I stand up. I try to shake off whatever loose emotions lay on me, but it doesn't exactly work. Y/N's face is stern, determined. „Connor, find her."

About 15 minutes later, we stand in what seems to be a warehouse area. Androids are lined up everywhere, machines and tools on the floor. Y/N walks in front of me, yelling out into the abyss. „Look, I am not in the mood for this. Please just be cooperative so we can get on with the night. If you cooperate, as long as we get evidence that you are harmless, you will be set free."
