Ah, Summer. Beaches filled with people, vacations in family, and over anything else, an unbearable heat, all around the world. And Japan was no exception. On this fresh day of July, A sports car could be seen going in circles in the middle of Yokohama.

- "I'M NOT LOST, I'M TRYING TO FIND MY WAY ! YOUR FUCKING COUNTRY'S ROADS ARE NOT INTUITIVE! WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE DRIVE ON THE LEFT LANE?!"

- "YOU'VE BEEN DOING SHIT AROUND THE WORLD FOR THE LAST THREE YEARS, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, WHY IS THIS THE THING THAT BOTHERS YOU THE MOST IN YOUR JOB?!"

Inside this very same sports car, two cats were arguing about how to drive correctly. Summer heat leads to stupid debates like this one.

Summer also meant more people going outside, craving for fresh air and sweets, as a result, shops like La Soleil were even more busy than usual, especially in the middle of the afternoon. Of course, Kashou and the girls were prepared for this.

Towards the end of this busy summer day, the staff finally had some time to relax. The four older girls just left the shop, as today's shift was coming to an end, only Chocola, Vanilla and Kashou were still in the shop.

As time ticked, and the customers slowly became less and less frequent, a sports car parked itself in front of La Soleil, out of it came what seemed to be a Male cat. His green eyes looked at the shop from the outside for a bit, then looked at himself in the reflection of the car, making sure his hair, tied in a low ponytail, was looking good, before entering the shop.

- "Welcome to La Soleil!" Chocola cheerfully greeted this new customer as she always does.

- "Good evening. I called to order two strawberry shortcakes earlier."

And only a minute or two later, everything was ready.

- "Here are your shortcakes, sir. And here's the total." Vanilla said, waiting for the customer to pay for the food.

- "Yep, here you go." He handed her a bit too much money, probably not even realizing it, before taking the box in which the sweets were placed, and heading for the exit. But as he was going to pass the doors, leaving the pâtisserie, he spoke up again.

- "Ah, yeah. Please, do me a favor and tell the pâtissier an old friend passed by." He then closed the doors behind him, leaving the duo thinking this was just a weird customer, like they sometimes had.

...

- "Hey, Vanilla, doesn't he look like the customer who gave us too much money?

A few hours later, the twins were watching TV, more precisely news, as their Master asked them to put on the news channel, so he could see the latest updates on an event he has been following for quite a while, as he was almost done preparing the shop for the next day.

- "Oh. You're right. Good thinking, Chocola." Vanilla congratulated her twin, as the two got closer and closer to the TV, in hopes to better see the camera footage.

- "Do you think this is the cat Master is looking for?" Chocola wondered.

- "Mh-hm." Vanilla nodded. "He looks the same, and said he was an old friend of Master's."

- "What's this about an old friend of mine?" Kashou said, entering the room, having barely finished preparing the shop.

- "Ah! Master! The cat from TV! He was in the shop today!" Chocola exclaimed as soon as she heard her master enter the room.

Congratulations and praises were what she hoped to hear from him, instead she was met with a face she didn't expect, he had a simple saddened smile, as he patted her head.
