The second day at Beacon Academy was now upon the first year students, the students slowly began to rise from their sleep and prepare for the day along with the initiation. Mystogen was laying on the ballroom floor, he stayed awake throughout the night gathering information in the Emerald Forest though irritatingly enough there was only one Vex code pillar, seemingly only that of surveying and information of the area around. Where ever the Vex may be, Mystogen and Ghost could confidently say they weren't in the forest. He rose from the floor and rolled his shoulders as he stretched out the stiffness he gained from laying on the hard surface, he may be used to sleeping such things but still not immune to the stiffness that he gains from such.

"Emerald Forest was a bust, seemed like a prime location for Vex activity," Ghost spoke within Mystogen's helmet.

Mystogen walks into the locker room and locates the one he had placed his weaponry in, "They enjoy seclusion and left to be undisturbed, I suppose they didn't enjoy the idea of being so close to such a populated area," He holstered his Better Devils to his hip and taking his Origin Story, stowing that on his back.

"Shouldn't have thought it would be this easy," Ghost says as with a soft sigh.

"It never truly is,"

Mystogen looked over and saw the two sisters talking while preparing for the initiation, he walked over, "Morning you two,"

"Hey handsome," Yang says in a flirtatious manner.

"You two for the initiation?" Mystogen says, completely ignoring Yang's attempt which a soft, dejected 'Aw' came from her.

"Yep! No more awkward small talk or 'getting-to-know-you' stuff. Today, I get to let my sweetheart do the talking," Ruby says joyously as she strokes Crescent Rose while sighing happily.

"Well, remember, Ruby, you're not the only one going through initiation. If you wanna grow up, you're gonna have to meet new people and learn to work together," Yang says.

"Your sister has a point Ruby," Mystogen agrees.

"See even the big guy agrees!"

Ruby lets out a sigh of frustration, "You both sound like dad!" She shoves her scythe into the locker, "Okay, first of all: What does meeting new people have to do with fighting? And secondly: I don't need people to help me grow up! I drink milk!"

"I don't think that has a correlation," Mystogen says.

"Yes it does!" Ruby retorted.

"But what about when we form teams?" Yang asks her sister.

She became suddenly nervous, "Um, I don't know, I... I'll just be on your's or Mystogen's team... or something..."

Yang brings her hair around her shoulder and starts to stroke it, "Maybe you should try being on someone else's team,"

"Wouldn't mind having you," Mystogen says.

She smiles at Mystogen, "Thank you!" She looks back at her sister, "And my dear sister Yang, are you implying that you do not wish to be on the same team as me?"

"What? No! Of course I do! I just thought... I don't know, maybe it would help... break out of your shell!" Yang says in defense.

"What the-?! I don't need to 'break out of my shell'! That's absolutely-"

"Ridiculous!" Jaune interrupts as he walks in between the three, holding a map and looking lost, "There's no way I put my gear in locker 636 yesterday! I would've remembered having to count that high! Why does this have to happen today?"

Mystogen looked at Jaune as a small sigh escaped his lips, "I'm gonna go help him," He begins to follow Jaune which the two pass Weiss Schnee and Pyrrha Nikos as they ready themselves at their lockers.
