Blooming Brews

Part 1:Cafe

Shubble pov:

It was a rainy day and I forgot my umbrella,so I'm soaking wet. God why am I so stupid. First I'm late to class, I get talked down to by my professor and told that I need to stop being such a failure ,and now I'm soaked. Meanwhile I'm holding back tears and running back to my dorm room,I come across a cafe that's called Blooming Brews. I went in to dry off and wait until the rain passed, but then I couldn't hold back my tears and I began to cry.

Katherine pov:

I was just cleaning the counter and then I heard someone.I looked up and I saw a brown hair girl wearing a purple sweater,green pants,brown boots, and mushroom themed beanie.The girl began to cry, why is she crying, maybe I should go talk to her. I walked over to her " Hey um are you ok? I asked. She then looks up and looks up at me, tears in her eyes, "I'm o-ok" She said. I could obviously tell that she was lying "ok I'm going to take you to the back and help you calm down ok?" "N-no it's fine! I don't want to bother you while your working." the girl said. "No no its fine I can ask my friend Gem to cover for me for a bit meanwhile I can make you tea." God she's so cute.wait no not right now I got to help her first! I then took the girl to the back and I told her to sit down while I went to make her tea. I then went to ask Gem to cover for me for a bit, which she said ok and then I went to make some tea.

Shubble pov:

I sat down on the chair and I feel really bad for bothering her,but she is really sweet for doing this for a complete stranger. I sat and waited until she came back with some tea." Here I made you some lavender tea, I hope it helps! I grabbed the cup of tea she gave me and took a sip, "Thank you." She then took a seat next to me "What's your name?", I replied "My names Shubble" she then replied " Ok Shubble, My names Katherine and do you mind telling me what's wrong?" I then told her what happened and how the professor told me off." What the heck is wrong with your professor! He sounds like an asshole! He shouldn't have told you that your a failure,please don't believe anything he said." Katherine seemed angry and worried. " I won't!" I then looked at the clock and saw that it was almost time for my next class. "Hey I gotta go, my next class is in 30 minutes."

Katherine pov:

"Ah ok!" I then got up and walked her to the door. "Thank you for the tea and for calming me down, I needed it" Shubble said. I got a bit flustered I'm not going to lie "Anytime and please come again!" " I definitely will! Bye Katherine!" I then waved at her "Bye Shubble!" When I turned around I saw Gem's smirk and looking at me. "What?" I asked, "Nothing" Gem said even though I knew she was lying.

Notes: Hello! I hoped you like the first chapter! I took some inspiration from the Heartstopper Flower Shop comic. This is my first fanfic so please bare with me. I'll try to post as often as I can!
